How to Add Products to Your Store Using AutoDS?

Learn how you can upload a single product to your store

This article explains AutoDS V2 (2021), our newer version supporting dropshipping to eBay and Shopify. If the images you see do not match the ones on your account, it means you are using the current version (V1). Check out this link for the article relevant to you.

When you finish the registration process, the system will prompt you to upload your first product. Click on the button to create the first draft of your first listing. You will always be able to add new products quickly via the + Add Products button on your sidebar menu:

Next, you will be able to add your product ID or URL to upload a single listing or several listings in a bulk action.

1- You can click theicon to change the store you want to upload to or add more. 

2- Add your product URL or product ID of one of our supported suppliers. 

3- Upload a CSV file to upload a list of items in bulk. Read more about how to do it further on in the article. 

4- Upload hot-selling items using the AutoDS Finder feature. Learn more about it here

5- Choose the supplier source site

6- Choose  the region you are uploading the product to

7- configure advanced settings like Allow duplicates, upload variations, etc.

 

Click 'Next' to continue to the next phase of the upload process. 

A single product upload: 

We add the URL and click Next

You will be directed through 4 stages of the upload settings:

General, Pricing, Shipping & Policies, and Import to Store.

General

Please check the featured numbers in the following image. You will find a detailed explanation of each featured number underneath the image.

1 - Check the box if you wish to use the default settings you have stored for this store and supplier. If you do, all fields will be greyed and you can skip to the next stage by clicking Next.

2- Choose a template (It's not a must choose it now, you can set it up first on the settings page to learn how to do that click here).

3- You can choose to add a tag to your upload. For example, if you're uploading a product for Christmas you might want to add a tag called 'Christmas' so you can later easily find the product and remove it When Christmas is over.

4- Choose a collection you want this product to be added to.  This applies to Shopify uploads only. 

5- Select a price range for the item/items you are uploading.

6- Enable \ Disable the monitoring for price\stock\ order 

 

Click Next

Pricing

1- Check the box if you wish to use the default settings you have stored for this supplier.

If you do, all fields will be greyed and you can skip to the next stage by clicking Next.

2- Decide if you want one of the automations you created to be applied on these uploaded products. You can learn how to set the automations here

3- Choose your fees you are paying to the selling site and the different payment methods (for example, eBay fee + PayPal fee). 

4- Set the additional profit in $ you wish for the item 

5- Set the additional % profit you wish for the item 

6- Enable or disable the dynamic profit feature, setting a profit for your products by a range of prices:

You can add more rules to cover as many price ranges as you wish. 

Once you're done, click Next

Shipping & Policy

If you are uploading to eBay, more options will be adding such as selecting your policies and setting the eBay listings as a private one

1- Check the box if you wish to use the default settings you have stored for this store and supplier. If you do, all fields will be greyed and you can skip to the next stage by clicking Next.

2- Check which shipping method you wish the system to monitor from the source site: 

3- Choose the country from which you're sourcing the item.

4- Type in the city you wish your item will be located in.

Once you're done, click Next

Import to Store

In this last stage, you can choose to add your item as a draft so you can edit it more later before you import it to your store. You can publish it immediately to the selling site or you can schedule the upload so it will be uploaded on a later date you select. You can learn more about scheduled uploads in this article

Upload CSV - add multiple listings at once in a bulk action 

 

You can choose to upload more than one listing at a time. Hit the + Add Product:

1- Hit the Upload CSV tab. 

2- Upload the CSV file you created using the instruction on the right side. You can also download an example file. Once the file is processed you will see this:

3- Choose the source supplier.

4- Choose the region and click Next

5- Choose if to apply one of these advanced options:

You will now have to go through the 4 stages for upload settings:

General, Pricing, Shipping & Policies, and Import to Store as were previously explained.
