When not to relist your products

In some cases, relisting is not the best option. On eBay and other selling channels, relisting creates a new listing that does not preserve the product’s history, such as sales records, views, and watchers.

If the product already has strong historical performance, it might be more effective to boost its exposure through promotions rather than relisting, since creating a new listing would erase valuable engagement data.

 

 

How to relist products using AutoDS

  1. Go to the Products page in AutoDS.

  2. Find the product(s) you want to relist.

  3. Click the ⋮ (three dots) dropdown.

  4. Select Relist.

  5. Wait for the confirmation that the product has been successfully relisted.

 

 

How to re-list an item which ended on eBay

If your product ended on eBay and no longer appears in AutoDS, you can relist it directly on eBay:

  1. Go to Seller Hub → Listings → Ended.

  2. Click Relist.

  3. The product will appear in your AutoDS account after about 1 hour under Untracked Listings (Products page).

  4. Add the ASIN or source item ID and click Update to start monitoring again.

Note: Re-listed items are uploaded as new listings on eBay. They will not retain watchers, views, or sales history — this is an eBay limitation. However, new listings often get more impressions.
