  • Handle platform-specific requirements for eBay, Shopify, Facebook, and TikTok.

Getting started

Before you begin uploading products to AutoDS, it's important to understand some key considerations that will help you avoid common issues and set up your dropshipping business for success. These guidelines cover product restrictions, supplier compatibility, and platform-specific requirements.

Customizable and personalized products

AutoDS does not support customizable or personalized products, as they require manual input per order. These products include items where customers can add custom text, names, dates, or personalized designs.

Examples of unsupported products:

  • Custom name necklaces.

  • Personalized phone cases.

  • Engraved items with customer-specified text.

  • Products with custom embroidery or monograms.

Uploads of such products will fail with the error "Product does not exist on the supplier." This happens because the product variations are infinite and cannot be mapped to specific SKUs for inventory management and order fulfillment.

Alternative for branded products:

If you want to sell branded products with custom designs, use Print on Demand suppliers instead. These suppliers specialize in custom-printed items and integrate with AutoDS for automated fulfillment.

Bundle products

Suppliers often sell products in bundle configurations, where multiple items are grouped together as a single offering. AutoDS does not support bundle products because they cannot be accurately mapped to individual SKUs for inventory management and order fulfillment.

Examples of bundle products:

  • "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" offers.

  • Multi-pack sets (e.g., "5-Pack T-Shirts").

  • Combo deals with multiple different products.

  • Gift sets with assorted items.

When attempting to upload a bundle product, the system displays the error "Product does not exist on the supplier website" to prevent inventory mismatches and fulfillment errors.

Tip: Focus on uploading single-unit products with standard configurations. If you want to create bundle offers, consider creating them manually on your selling channel using multiple single products.

Minimum or maximum order quantity requirements

Some suppliers enforce minimum or maximum order quantities for specific products, particularly wholesale suppliers or manufacturers. AutoDS does not support products with these restrictions because dropshipping typically involves single-unit orders.

Common scenarios:

  • Wholesale products require a minimum order of 10+ units.

  • Bulk items are sold only in cases or pallets.

  • Manufacturing samples with maximum order limits.

When you attempt to upload such products, the system may display unusually high prices, such as 133 or 266, to prevent potential losses from unfulfilled orders or inventory mismanagement. These inflated prices serve as a warning that the product has quantity restrictions.

Note: If you see unusually high source prices on your listings, verify the supplier's product page for minimum or maximum order quantity requirements.

Fast shipping alternatives

For fast shipping, high-quality items, discounts for AutoDS dropshippers, logo branding on gift cards, and easy payment options, consider using the AutoDS Warehouse. This service provides curated products with quality inspections and faster delivery times compared to standard Chinese suppliers.

Supported suppliers for product upload

AutoDS integrates with numerous suppliers across different regions, allowing you to upload products from their catalogs directly to your connected selling channels. When uploading products from supported suppliers, AutoDS extracts product information, including title, description, images, variants, pricing, and stock levels.

Important: Some suppliers have the same name as selling channels, such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify. The list below refers to suppliers and not selling channels.

Additionally, keep in mind that the correct approach is to upload products from suppliers and not paste links from your own store. If you use links from your own store, the product will not have a supplier attached, which means AutoDS cannot properly monitor prices, update stock, or fulfill orders. This will result in incorrect product listings in your store.

The table below shows all suppliers currently supported for product upload on AutoDS, along with their regional availability. This comprehensive list allows you to source products from various locations and compare options to find the best suppliers for your business needs.

Upload recommendations

Best practices and recommendations to ensure successful product uploads from supported suppliers, including accuracy checks, pricing settings, and compliance with AutoDS requirements.

Use clean product URLs

When uploading products to AutoDS, always use the clean product URL that ends with ".html" or the product ID, without additional parameters. This ensures accurate product identification and prevents upload errors caused by session-specific or tracking parameters.

Why clean URLs matter:

  • Accurate product identification: Parameters are session-specific tracking codes that change with each visit. These parameters can confuse the AutoDS system and cause upload failures.

  • Consistent imports: Clean URLs ensure that the same product is recognized consistently across multiple import attempts.

  • Faster processing: URLs without parameters are processed more quickly by the AutoDS system.

URL structure best practices:

Important: Copying a URL after selecting a variant (such as color or size) will limit your upload to only that variant. To import all available product variants, copy the URL directly from the main product page before making any variant selections.

How to get clean URLs:

Method 1 - Copy from address bar: Copy the URL from your browser's address bar and manually remove everything after ".html" or the product ID.

Method 2 - Use the share button: Many supplier websites have a share or copy link button that provides clean URLs automatically. Look for share icons on product pages.

Method 3 - Right-click on product title: Right-click on the product title or main image and select "Copy link address" to get a clean URL in most cases.

Method 4 - Use AutoDS Helper Extension: Install the AutoDS Helper Extension on your browser to automatically extract clean product URLs with one click. This browser tool allows you to upload products directly from the supplier's website without manually copying URLs, streamlining your product import workflow, and reducing upload errors.

Ship to country settings

The Ship to Country setting in your AutoDS account determines which regional version of the supplier's website the platform uses to extract product information, pricing, and shipping options. This setting must match the region you're browsing on the supplier's website when copying the product URL to ensure accurate uploads.

Suppliers like AliExpress, Alibaba, and DHgate show different product information based on your selected shipping destination. These regional differences include:

  • Pricing: Product prices vary by region due to shipping costs, taxes, and regional promotions.

  • Availability: Some products or variants are only available for specific shipping destinations.

  • Variants: Color, size, and other variant options may differ based on the selected region.

  • Shipping options: Available carriers, delivery times, and shipping costs change based on the destination country.

Tip: Set your "Ship to Country" based on where most of your customers are located. This ensures accurate pricing and shipping information for your target market.

How to configure Ship to Country settings

To ensure successful product uploads, your Ship to Country setting in AutoDS must match the region you're viewing on the supplier's website.

To configure your Ship to Country settings:

  1. Log in to your AutoDS account and navigate to Settings → Supplier Settings.

  2. On the General tab, locate the Ship to Country section for each supplier you use.

  3. Select the country that matches your target market or the region you're browsing on the supplier's website.

  4. Click Save to apply your settings.

Example scenario:

If you're browsing AliExpress with shipping set to the United Kingdom, but your AutoDS Ship to Country is set to the United States, the upload will fail. This happens because the product URL contains UK-specific information (pricing, variants, shipping), but AutoDS is trying to match it to US-specific data.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Change your AutoDS Ship to Country setting to the United Kingdom to match the region you're browsing.

  2. Or browse AliExpress with shipping set to the United States to match your AutoDS setting.

Regional shipping mismatch errors

If your "Ship to Country" setting doesn't match the region you're browsing on the supplier's website, you may encounter upload errors such as:

  • "Product does not exist on the supplier website".

  • Incorrect pricing or currency mismatches.

  • Missing variants or options.

  • Unavailable shipping methods.

To avoid these errors, always verify that your AutoDS shipping settings align with the region you're sourcing products from before copying product URLs.

Suppliers' discounts and special offers

Sometimes you may notice a price gap because some discounts, promotions, or special deals are not monitored by AutoDS. To confirm that the price is accurate:

  1. Log in to a supplier account that already has recent orders.

Note: Even then, AliExpress may still show special deals or promotions that are not applicable. Please double-check that your account is not displaying any temporary deal on the product page.

  2. Make sure you are using the correct Ship To region settings both on the supplier site and on AutoDS.

  3. Enable the Price and Stock Monitoring on the Supplier Settings > Lister.
Note: Price and stock are monitored only after a product is imported and monitoring is enabled in the supplier settings. Draft products are not monitored, so their prices may appear incorrect. This feature is not available for the Import plan.

  4. Compare the displayed prices.

Make sure that the Ship to option on Aliexpress product matches the one you set in AutoDS under Settings > Supplier Settings > General > Ship to Country:

Worldwide shipping restrictions

Some suppliers in the AutoDS supported suppliers list show "All" or "Worldwide" in the Region column, indicating they support global shipping. However, this does not mean every product from these suppliers ships to every country. Understanding these restrictions helps you avoid order fulfillment issues and customer dissatisfaction.

Important considerations for worldwide suppliers:

  • Product-level restrictions: Even if a supplier supports worldwide shipping, individual products may have country-specific restrictions due to regulations, customs, or the seller's preferences.

  • Shipping costs: Worldwide shipping often comes with significantly higher costs, especially for large or heavy items. Always factor shipping costs into your pricing strategy.

  • Delivery times: International shipping from worldwide suppliers can take 15-60 days, depending on the origin country and destination. Set realistic expectations with your customers.

  • Customs and duties: International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, and taxes that the customer must pay upon delivery. This can lead to customer complaints if not communicated clearly.

  • Shipping policies: On marketplaces like Etsy, Shopify, and TikTok, individual sellers control their own shipping policies. A product may not ship to your target country even if the platform supports worldwide shipping.

Selling channel and target regions

Different selling channels have specific policies, requirements, and customer expectations that make certain suppliers more suitable than others. The AutoDS platform supports multiple selling channels, and understanding which suppliers work best for each channel will help you avoid policy violations, fulfillment issues, and customer complaints.

Regional compatibility and shipping strategies

When selecting suppliers for your dropshipping business, understanding the relationship between supplier regions (Ship From) and target markets (Ship To) is crucial for meeting selling channel requirements and customer expectations. Each selling channel has different shipping time policies and customer tolerance levels that directly impact which supplier regions are most suitable.

Understanding Ship From and Ship To dynamics:

The Ship From location refers to the supplier's warehouse or fulfillment center where products are stored and shipped. The Ship To location is your target customer's country or region. The distance and logistics between these two locations determine shipping times, costs, and tracking reliability.

Shipping time expectations by selling channel:

  • Amazon: Customers expect 2-7 day delivery for competitive Buy Box positioning. Prioritize Ship From US, UK, DE, AU, or CA warehouses depending on your target marketplace.

  • eBay: Accepts 15-45 day shipping times, but faster delivery improves seller ratings and customer satisfaction. Ship from US or EU warehouses recommended for domestic stores; Ship from CN acceptable for international stores.

  • Etsy: Customers expect handmade or vintage items with reasonable shipping times. Ship from US or local warehouses recommended for faster delivery; Ship from CN acceptable with clear communication.

  • Shopify: No platform restrictions, but customer expectations vary by market. US customers typically expect 7-14-day delivery; international customers may accept 15-30 days.

  • TikTok Shop: Requires 48-hour fulfillment and delivery within 7-10 days maximum. Only shipments from the US or local warehouses are compatible with this selling channel's strict policies.

Regional supplier recommendations by target market

Selling to the United States (Ship to US):

  • Best option: Ship from US suppliers (Walmart, Amazon US, CJ Dropshipping US warehouse, Banggood US warehouse) for 2-7 day delivery.

  • Good option: Ship from CA suppliers for 5-10 day delivery to nearby US states.

  • Budget option: Ship from CN suppliers (AliExpress, DHgate, AutoDS Warehouse) for 15-45-day delivery with ePacket or standard shipping.

Selling to the United Kingdom (Ship to UK):

  • Best option: Ship from UK suppliers (Amazon UK, eBay UK, Banggood UK warehouse) for 2-5 day delivery.

  • Good option: Ship from DE, FR, ES, IT suppliers for 5-10 day EU delivery.

  • Budget option: Ship from CN suppliers for 15-45 day delivery.

Selling to the European Union (Ship to DE, FR, ES, IT):

  • Best option: Ship from local country suppliers (Amazon DE/FR/ES/IT, eBay local) for 2-5 day delivery.

  • Good option: Ship from other EU countries for 5-10 day intra-EU delivery.

  • Budget option: Ship from CN suppliers for 15-45 day delivery.

Selling to Australia (Ship To AU):

  • Best option: Ship from AU suppliers (Amazon AU, eBay AU, Kogan) for 2-7 day delivery.

  • Good option: Ship from CN suppliers with AU-specific shipping lines for 10-25 day delivery.

  • Limited options: Few domestic AU suppliers are available; China remains the primary source for product variety.

Selling to Canada (Ship To CA):

  • Best option: Ship from CA suppliers (Amazon CA, Walmart CA cross-border) for 3-7 day delivery.

  • Good option: Ship from US suppliers for 5-10 day cross-border delivery.

  • Budget option: Ship from CN suppliers for 15-45 day delivery.

Strategic supplier selection tips:

  • Mix domestic and international suppliers: Ship from local warehouses for fast-selling products, and ship from CN for long-tail products with less time-sensitive demand.

  • Match supplier region to selling channel policies: TikTok Shop and Amazon require domestic or fast shipping; eBay and Shopify allow more flexibility with international suppliers.

  • Consider shipping costs vs. product costs: Domestic suppliers (ship from the US/UK/EU) have higher product costs but lower shipping costs and faster delivery. International suppliers (shipping from China) have lower product costs but higher shipping costs and longer delivery times.

  • Test supplier performance: Start with small orders to verify actual shipping times match supplier promises before scaling your product catalog.

  • Communicate shipping times clearly: Set accurate delivery estimates on your product listings to manage customer expectations, especially when using Ship From CN suppliers.

Important: Always verify that your chosen supplier's Ship From location can reliably deliver to your target market (Ship To location) within your selling channel's required timeframes. Failure to meet shipping time policies can result in account suspensions, negative reviews, and customer refund requests.

Upload methods and process

The product upload process in AutoDS begins with selecting the correct store and choosing your preferred import method. This section covers all available methods and settings to help you upload products efficiently and accurately.

Choose the correct store

Before importing any products, you must select the store where you want to upload the products. This step ensures your listings appear in the correct selling channel and prevents accidental uploads to the wrong account.

To choose the correct store:

  1. Click the store name on the top-left of your AutoDS account.

  2. Select the correct store from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click Next to proceed with the upload.

If you manage multiple stores on different selling channels, you can switch between them at any time before starting the upload process. Each store may have different settings, templates, and automation rules, so always verify the selected store before importing.

Important: Always confirm the correct store is selected before importing products to avoid uploading items to the wrong selling channel. Once uploaded, moving products between stores requires re-uploading them manually.

Upload a single product

The single product upload method allows you to import one item at a time using its product URL or product ID. This method is ideal when you want to carefully select specific products or test new items before adding them in bulk.

To upload a single product:

  1. Click Add Products from the left sidebar in your AutoDS account.

  2. Select Single Product.

  3. Enter the product URL or product ID in the designated field.

  4. Select the supplier source from the dropdown menu.

  5. Choose the region or warehouse where the product originates.

  6. Select your upload preference:

    • Add as Draft (Simple Page): Save the product to your Drafts page for editing before publishing.

    • Publish to Store: Upload the product directly to your selling channel.

Tips:

  • Add products to Drafts first to review and optimize details before publishing them to your store. This allows you to verify pricing, edit descriptions, optimize images, and ensure all product information is accurate before going live.

  • Start with a small batch of products to test your store's automation settings before importing in bulk. This helps you identify and fix any configuration issues before scaling your uploads.

Bulk import

Bulk import enables you to upload multiple products simultaneously, saving significant time when building or expanding your product catalog. AutoDS offers two methods for bulk importing products, as explained below:

Option 1: Multiple URLs or IDs

The Multiple URLs or IDs method lets you paste multiple product URLs or IDs at once to import them in bulk.

To upload using multiple URLs or IDs:

  1. Click Add Products → Multiple Products from your AutoDS account.

  2. Paste each product URL or ID on a new line in the text field.

  3. Verify the supplier and warehouse details are correct.

  4. Click +Add Draft to save the products to your Drafts page.

You can paste up to 500 URLs or IDs at once for optimal system performance. After adding them to Drafts, you can review and edit each product before publishing to your store.

Option 2: CSV file upload

The CSV file method allows you to upload multiple products using a spreadsheet file. This is especially useful when migrating from another platform or when you have a large inventory to import.

To upload products via a CSV file:

  1. Click Add Products → Multiple Products.

  2. Select Upload CSV File.

  3. (Optional) Download the example CSV file to see the correct format.

  4. Prepare your CSV file with the following required columns:

    • BuyId: The product URL or product ID from the supplier (required)

    • Title: The product title (optional)

    • Price: The product price (optional)

  5. Upload your CSV file and follow the prompts to match fields.

  6. Products will appear in the Drafts page once the upload is complete.

Important: The CSV file must include the BuyId column. If this column is missing or incorrectly formatted, the upload will fail. The Title and Price columns are optional and can be used to override default values.

Import CSV from other platforms

If you are migrating from another monitoring software or from your selling channel, you can import existing listings to AutoDS using CSV files.

Migrating from another software:

  1. Contact the support team of your previous software.

  2. Request an export of your listings in CSV format.

  3. Edit the file to match AutoDS formatting (BuyId required, Title and Price optional).

  4. Upload the file using the CSV upload method described above.

Migrating from eBay:

If you have existing eBay listings that you want to monitor in AutoDS, you can export them directly from eBay and import them using the CSV method.

To export listings from your eBay store:

  1. Click Customize table.

  2. Enable the Custom Label field.

  3. Check if you see source IDs in the column:

    • If you see source IDs, you can proceed with the export.

    • If the column displays "Add" instead, request the export file from your previous monitoring software.

  4. On the active listings page, click Reports.

  5. Click Get template.

  6. Set the template source to Listings.

  7. Select template type Edit price and quantity.

  8. Download the file.

  9. Adjust the file format to match AutoDS untracked products' requirements (BuyId, Title, Price columns).

  10. Upload the file to AutoDS using the CSV upload method.

Note: When migrating from eBay, the Custom Label field contains the source IDs needed to connect your listings to suppliers in AutoDS. Without this information, you will need to add source URLs for each product manually.

Tips:

  • Keep each bulk upload under 500 products for optimal system performance and faster processing. If you have more than 500 products to upload, split them into multiple CSV files or multiple paste operations.

  • You can upload to multiple stores simultaneously by selecting more than one store when starting the import. This saves time when managing multiple selling channels.

Upload errors: eBay non-API (MIP) stores only

The following upload errors apply specifically to eBay non-API stores (MIP integration) in AutoDS.

Error

Workaround

Products missing on eBay after import: You imported products to your eBay non-API (MIP) store, but they don't appear on eBay.

AutoDS sends updates to eBay every 60 minutes. Normally, your item will appear within 1 hour, but it can take longer if SellerHub servers are delayed. To check your upload status, go to View details immediately after import to check the status. If the upload failed, the error reason will appear in the status column. If you scheduled uploads, check the Scheduled Uploads section from the Drafts page to see if errors occurred.

Products are displaying an “MIP location not set" error: It's likely due to missing warehouse information.

Go to eBay MIP Settings, locate "Channel Management", and look at the warehouse location. If it's empty, please fill in the missing details (City, State, Country, and Zip code).

If it is not empty, contact AutoDS support for assistance.

“No product given to import” error: This occurs when the Product ID format is incorrect.

Attempt to re-import via CSV, by opening the Product Page and going to Untracked and clicking Add via CSV. Download and open the CSV File Example. Reformat the Product ID column: use "Number" with 0 decimals. Open with Google Sheets to preserve ID formatting. Export/download as CSV and upload back to AutoDS.

Important: For eBay non-API (MIP) stores to function properly, the AutoDS Helper Chrome Extension must be active, and both eBay and AutoDS websites must be open in your browser. Click here to learn more about non-API (MIP) integration.

Upload from AutoDS Marketplace

The AutoDS Marketplace is a built-in product sourcing hub that provides access to curated products from top suppliers, including Private Suppliers with exclusive terms and faster shipping. Instead of manually searching supplier websites for hours, you can browse, filter, and import trending products directly from the Marketplace.

To import products from the AutoDS Marketplace:

  1. Open the Marketplace tab from the left sidebar in your AutoDS account.

  2. Use the search bar or apply filters to find products based on category, price, supplier, shipping time, or other criteria.

  3. Click on a product to view details, or click Import Draft to add it directly to your Drafts page.

  4. The product appears in your Drafts page, where you can edit and customize it before publishing.

Product preview card

Each product card in the grid view inside the AutoDS Marketplace feature displays essential information to help you make quick sourcing decisions. Check them below:

  1. Supplier name: identifies the source of the product (retail platform, private supplier, or warehouse).

  2. Product title: the item's name as provided by the supplier.

  3. Item cost: displays either a single price point or a variation range if the product has multiple options with different costs.

  4. Shipping time: estimated delivery window, helping you set customer expectations accurately.

If the preview information is sufficient, click Import Product to send it directly to your Drafts. For more information about the supplier's policies, shipping terms, return policies, or product specifications, click on the product to access the full product page.

Upload settings explained

After selecting products for upload in AutoDS, you have several options to control how and when the products are added to your store. Understanding these settings helps you manage your workflow and ensure products are uploaded correctly.

When uploading products, you can choose from four main options:

  1. Add as Draft: Saves products to your Drafts page for review and editing before publishing. This is recommended when you want to optimize product details, verify pricing, or customize descriptions before going live.

  2. Create and Publish: Uploads products directly to your selling channel using your configured settings from Lister Settings and Pricing Settings. This is ideal for products that do not require editing, and when you trust your automation settings.

  3. Schedule for Later: Allows you to set a specific date and time for the upload to occur automatically. This is useful for planning campaigns, coordinating with promotions, or spacing out uploads over time.

  4. Edit Upload Settings: Customize advanced settings that control how products are processed.

Schedule for Later option

The option to schedule uploads enables you to plan when products are added to your store, which is useful for coordinating campaigns, managing peak hours, or automating uploads during specific time frames.

To schedule products for later upload:

  1. Choose Schedule for Later on the upload options screen.

  2. Select the day you want the upload to run (you can choose today or any future date).

  3. Select the time from the dropdown menu. Uploads can be scheduled in 30-minute intervals.

  4. Click Next to confirm the schedule.

The products will be added to your Scheduled Uploads section on Drafts, located in the left sidebar, and a confirmation notification will appear.

View and manage scheduled uploads

To view and manage your scheduled uploads:

  1. Click the blue link in the confirmation notification after selecting the schedule upload option, or navigate to Drafts → Scheduled from the left sidebar.

  2. Items are listed by their scheduled upload date and time.

  3. Click the arrow icon to expand a scheduled upload and edit details such as title, images, pricing, quantity, or other product attributes.

  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) to:

    • Change the scheduled date and time.

    • Import the product immediately instead of waiting.

    • Delete the scheduled upload.

Important: The time you select is based on your own time zone. If you have a Virtual Assistant (VA) working for you, they will see the scheduled time according to their time zone. Ensure you convert the time correctly to avoid confusion and ensure uploads occur at the intended time.

Tip: Scheduling product uploads helps you better plan your uploads around campaigns, peak shopping hours, or seasonal events. You can also use scheduled uploads to maintain consistent store activity by spreading out product additions over time.

Edit upload settings

After selecting products for upload (via single product, bulk import, or Marketplace) and clicking on the 'Edit upload settings' button, you will see the upload options screen. Before completing the upload, you can customize advanced settings that control how products are processed, as explained in the table below.

Upload processes by selling channel

Some selling channels require specialized upload procedures due to platform restrictions or unique features. This section covers the specific steps for uploading products to Facebook Marketplace, TikTok Shop, and Amazon in AutoDS.

Upload products to Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace has unique requirements for uploading products because AutoDS cannot sync your existing Facebook listings. All products must be uploaded through AutoDS first, then published to Facebook using the AutoDS Helper Chrome Extension.

Important: AutoDS cannot sync your existing Facebook Marketplace listings. If you already have listings on Facebook, you will need to re-upload them through AutoDS to enable monitoring and automation.

To add products to your Facebook Marketplace:

  1. Ensure your products are saved in your Drafts page in AutoDS.

  2. Go to your Facebook Marketplace account and click Create New Listing.

  3. In the dropdown menu within the Chrome Extension, select a product from your Drafts.

  4. Click Paste Info from AutoDS.

  5. The extension will automatically fill in the title, description, images, and price.

  6. Review the details and edit if necessary, then click Next.

  7. (Optional) Add a brand name and SKU if desired.

  8. Insert the shipping details:

    • Set Delivery Method to Shipping Only.

    • Under Shipping option, select Use your own shipping label.

    • Turn on Free Shipping for Buyers.

  9. (Optional) Allow buyers to negotiate a price equal to or above the minimum you set.

  10. (Optional) Choose up to 20 Facebook groups to list your item in (recommended for increased visibility).

  11. Scroll down and click Publish. A confirmation notification will appear.

  12. Return to your AutoDS account and check the Products page. The item will move automatically from Drafts to Products once published.

Upload products to TikTok Shop

TikTok Shop requires product approval before listings go live, and certain product categories require certifications. Understanding these requirements before uploading helps avoid delays and ensures compliance with TikTok policies.

Important notes before uploading to TikTok Shop:

  • TikTok approval: Products uploaded via AutoDS require approval from TikTok before they go live in your store. Always monitor your TikTok Shop for notifications about the approval process. Approval times vary depending on product category and TikTok's review queue.

  • Default warehouse: All products uploaded through AutoDS will be placed in your default TikTok warehouse. Make sure your warehouse settings are configured correctly before uploading.

  • Product certifications: TikTok may require specific certifications depending on the product category. Once you upload a certificate for one product, it will automatically apply to all products in the same category, saving time on future uploads. Check the list of restricted and non-restricted items here.

  • Size chart: For certain product types, TikTok requires a size chart. You can upload the chart image from the Image tab when editing your product in AutoDS.

Click here to read more about TikTok Shop as a selling channel in AutoDS.

Steps to manage certifications in your TikTok Shop:

  1. Go to Products → Product Certification → Manage in your TikTok Seller account.

  2. Upload the required certifications for the relevant product categories.

  3. Once applied, the certification will cover all products in the same category.

Tip: To avoid delays, upload products that do not require certification whenever possible. This allows you to build your catalog quickly while preparing certifications for restricted categories.

Upload products to Amazon stores

Amazon requires a unique product identification system to ensure accurate listings and catalog organization in AutoDS. Understanding how ASINs work and the specific requirements for Amazon uploads helps you list products correctly and avoid common errors.

Understanding ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers)

The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is Amazon's unique identifier used to manage and organize product listings. Every product in Amazon's catalog has an ASIN, which helps:

  • Buyers and sellers quickly find related items across the marketplace.

  • Keep product details accurate and consistent across all listings.

  • Enable proper synchronization between AutoDS and Amazon's system for dropshipping.

Important notes about ASINs:

  • Each product variant on Amazon has its own ASIN: If a product has multiple sizes or colors, each variation will have a unique ASIN.

  • ASINs are required for all uploads: To list products in your Amazon store through AutoDS, they must be part of Amazon's catalog and identified by an ASIN.

  • Using ASINs from other suppliers: Even if you're sourcing items from suppliers like AliExpress, you must use the corresponding ASIN from Amazon's catalog to create the listing.

How to find an ASIN on Amazon: You can identify the ASIN of each product in Amazon's catalog by:

  • Checking the product URL on Amazon (the ASIN appears after "/dp/" in the URL).

  • Using the AutoDS Helper Chrome Extension to detect and capture the ASIN automatically.

  • Looking at the product details section on the Amazon product page.

If the product you want to import lacks an ASIN on Amazon, you'll need to either find a comparable item with a valid ASIN or select a similar product from Amazon's catalog.

Upload a single product to Amazon

Before uploading products to your Amazon store through AutoDS, make sure:

  • Your Amazon account is subscribed to the Professional Selling Plan.

  • Your Amazon store has regional permissions that match the region connected in AutoDS. For example, if you want to sell in the US or UK, these marketplaces must be approved in your Seller Central account.

  • You have the correct ASIN for each product you want to list.

Note: Products will only become active after Amazon’s approval. In some cases, you will see a yellow warning: “You need the approval to list; request Approval via Seller Center.” Click the link to request approval directly in Seller Central.

To upload a single product to your Amazon store using AutoDS:

  1. Open the left menu and go to + Add Products → Single Product.

  2. Select your Amazon store (or click ✎ to change).

  3. Choose the supplier source from the dropdown menu.

  4. Select the region or warehouse.

  5. Enter the product information based on your supplier:

    • If the supplier is Amazon: Enter the Amazon product URL or the ASIN directly.

    • If the supplier is another supported site (e.g., AliExpress, Walmart): Enter the supplier product URL/ID, AND the ASIN of the Amazon listing you want to join.

  6. Choose your upload preference:

    • Add as Draft: Save the product for editing before publishing.

    • Publish to Store: Upload directly to your Amazon store.

Important: When you upload products from suppliers other than Amazon in AutoDS, you will need to provide both the supplier's product URL/ID and the corresponding Amazon ASIN. This ensures that your listing is associated with the correct product page in Amazon's catalog.

Bulk import products to Amazon

AutoDS offers two methods for bulk importing products to your Amazon store:

Option 1: Multiple URLs or IDs

  1. Click Add Products → Multiple Products.

  2. Paste each product URL or ID on a new line.

  3. For each product, ensure you provide:

    • The supplier URL/ID (if not from Amazon).

    • The corresponding Amazon ASIN.

  4. Click +Add Draft to save the products to your Drafts page.

Option 2: CSV file upload

  1. Click Add Products → Multiple Products.

  2. Select Upload CSV File.

  3. Download the example CSV file to see the correct format.

  4. Prepare your CSV file with the following columns:

    • BuyID: The product URL or ID from the supplier (required).

    • Title: The product title (optional).

    • Price: The product price (optional).

    • ASIN: The Amazon ASIN for the product (required for Amazon stores).

  5. Upload your CSV file and follow the prompts.

Important: For Amazon stores, the ASIN column is required in your CSV file. Without valid ASINs, products cannot be uploaded to Amazon through AutoDS.

Note: AutoDS Finder is not available for Amazon stores in AutoDS. You must use the single product, multiple URLs/IDs, or CSV upload methods to add products to your Amazon store.

Solutions for common Amazon upload errors in AutoDS

When uploading products to your Amazon store through AutoDS, you may encounter errors that prevent the items from being listed or monitored. This guide explains the most common Amazon upload issues, what they mean, and how to fix them.

Issue

Workaround

Active Professional Selling Plan required

Your Amazon account must be subscribed to the Professional Selling Plan.

This is required for connecting AutoDS (or any third-party software).

Note: If you recently downgraded, you cannot upload products even if your billing cycle has not ended yet.

Regional selling permissions missing

Your Amazon account must be approved for the region connected to AutoDS.

Example: If your AutoDS store is set to sell in the US or UK, ensure those marketplaces are approved in Amazon Seller Central.

"Your token has expired. Please click the button to renew your token"

This indicates a syncing issue between Amazon and AutoDS.

How to fix it:

  1. Go to your Amazon Seller Central account.

  2. Renew the app authorization for AutoDS.

  3. Go to Settings > Store settings > Renew Token and Resync your store.

  4. Click here to learn more about renewing your store token and resyncing your store in AutoDS.

"You need the approval to list; request Approval via Seller Center"

Some Amazon products require manual approval before they can go live.

How to fix it:

  1. Click the provided link.

  2. Submit your request for approval in Amazon Seller Central.

Important: Amazon is very strict with product uploads. If approval or additional details are required, you must follow their instructions. There is no workaround.

Product has no ASIN on Amazon

Search for a comparable product on Amazon and choose one that already has an ASIN.

Using a valid ASIN ensures smoother product uploads and monitoring, even when sourcing from other suppliers like AliExpress.

Product variations uploads

AutoDS allows you to upload and manage products with multiple variations (e.g., size, color, or model) from supported suppliers. Product variations enable you to offer different options for the same product within a single listing, creating a more professional shopping experience for your buyers.

Example: A product with two attributes (Color and Size), each offering four options, results in 16 variations (4 sizes × 4 colors).

Note: Always check the attributes on the supplier's website.

On AliExpress, for example, this information is displayed directly below the product price.

In AutoDS, you can view attributes in the Variants tab of the product page.

Important: Ensure that the total number of variations stays within your plan limit. If needed, upgrade to a higher-tier plan. Always monitor your listing and variation usage. Upgrading in advance prevents disruptions in automation.

To upload variations by default in AutoDS, enable this setting in Settings → Supplier Settings → Lister → Advanced Lister Settings → Upload Variations.

Important: Each supplier works differently when using AutoDS. On AliExpress, variations can be uploaded by default. On Amazon, variations are not supported by default. Always review and configure each supplier's settings.

For Facebook stores, the process differs when importing directly.

Edit product variations

After uploading a product with variations to AutoDS, you can edit each variation individually.

To edit product variations:

  1. Go to the Products or Drafts page.

  2. Select the item and open the Variants tab.

  3. Click Edit to open edit mode for each variant.

  4. When satisfied, save your edits and import the product to your selling channel.

Note: Selling channels may handle variations differently from suppliers.

  • eBay and Shopify require all variations to share the same title and description.

  • Amazon and Home Depot allow each variation to have its own title, description, images, and price.

This means that uploading multi-variation products from certain suppliers to specific channels can cause inconsistencies (e.g., one description being applied to all variations). Always review before publishing.

Shopify variation limits

Shopify, as a selling channel, imposes strict limits on the number of variations and option types allowed per product. Understanding these limits helps you avoid upload errors and ensures your products meet Shopify's requirements.

Daily variant upload limit: If your store has more than 50,000 variants, Shopify restricts you to uploading a maximum of 1,000 new variants per day. This limitation is set by Shopify and isn’t controlled by AutoDS.

Product variation limits: Shopify restricts each product to a maximum of 100 variations and a maximum of three option types per product (for example: Size, Color, Material).

When uploading products with AutoDS, the system uses the same structure provided by the supplier, including variations, title, description, and images. Since option types can’t be edited during import in AutoDS, any product with more than three option types will fail to upload due to Shopify’s limitation.

Example:

Option

Values

Variation Count

Size

XS, S, M, L, XL

5 sizes

Color

Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Grey

7 colors

Fabric Type

Cotton, Polyester, Blend

3 fabric types

Total Variants

All sizes, colors, and fabric types

5 × 7 × 3 = 105 variations

This product would generate 105 variants. Since Shopify’s standard plans allow a maximum of 100 variants per product, this setup would cause an upload error when you try to publish it.

Tip: If you need to list products with more than 100 variants in your Shopify store and are using AutoDS, consider upgrading to a Shopify Plus account, which allows for more flexible variant limits.

Troubleshooting Shopify uploads

When trying to upload multiple variations to Shopify, you may encounter certain issues. This section covers the most common problems and their solutions:

Issue

Workaround

Maximum 100 Variants

Shopify allows up to 100 variants per product. If you exceed this, the product cannot be imported, so you will need to reduce the number of variants in your product draft to 100 or fewer before importing it into your store.

Maximum 3 Option Types

Shopify supports only up to 3 option types (e.g., Size, Color, Material) per product.

If your product has more than 3, upload it manually to Shopify with only three option types and connect it to AutoDS via Untracked Products.

Example (ASIN B07YMNLXL3): This product has four option types (Style, Size, Color, and Configuration). Since Shopify supports only 3, it cannot be imported directly. Import it manually with three option types, then connect it in AutoDS as an untracked product. It will still be monitored for stock and price (if enabled).

Untracked Products

Untracked products are items added manually to your selling channel, rather than being uploaded through AutoDS, and therefore cannot be monitored by the system for stock or price changes. By connecting or deleting them in AutoDS, you can maintain control over your catalog and automation.

These products typically exist because they were:

  • Uploaded manually to your store before connecting to AutoDS.

  • Added using external tools or browser extensions.

  • Created through your selling channel's native upload interface.

  • Fulfilled manually or through a method outside the AutoDS order system.

When products are untracked, AutoDS cannot update their stock levels, adjust pricing in response to supplier changes, or automate order fulfillment. Connecting these products to AutoDS enables full automation and monitoring capabilities.

Benefits of connecting untracked products

Connecting untracked products to AutoDS provides significant advantages for managing your store and keeping product information accurate:

  • Accurate stock and price updates: Your product's price and stock will be updated multiple times per day directly from the supplier (once every 24 hours on the Import 200 plan).

  • Enhanced product data synchronization: Product details such as title, description, and images remain accurate and up to date.

  • Access to powerful AutoDS tools: Use automation and optimization tools (some require additional payment).

  • Order tracking and automation: Orders cannot be monitored or automated until products are connected.

  • Clean catalog: Delete untracked items not needed to simplify your operations.

Access the Untracked Products Page

To view and manage your untracked products, use the dedicated Untracked Products section in your AutoDS account.

To access untracked products:

  1. Go to Products → Untracked Products from the left menu in your AutoDS account.

  2. Alternatively, click + Add Products on the left panel and select Untracked Products.

  3. You will see a list of items from your store that are not yet monitored by AutoDS.

Tip: Use Add Filter in the Untracked section to narrow your search and locate products easily. You can filter by product name, SKU, price range, or other criteria to quickly find specific untracked items.

Connect a single untracked product manually

Connecting a single untracked product enables you to link it to a supplier, allowing AutoDS to begin monitoring stock, price, and other product details.

To connect a single untracked product:

  1. Navigate to the Untracked Products page.

  2. Click Connect next to the desired product.

  3. Enter the Source ID (product URL or ID from the supplier), select the supplier, and choose the region.

  4. Click Add and review the product details that AutoDS retrieves from the supplier.

  5. Click Import Selected to finalize the connection.

Once connected, the product moves from the Untracked Products section to your Products page in AutoDS, where it is now monitored according to your supplier settings.

Manage untracked product variations

If your product has multiple variations and is Untracked, when you select it to connect, AutoDS opens the Variations page. On this page, you can:

  • Delete unwanted variations by clicking the delete icon next to each variation.

  • Review variation attributes (e.g., color, size) and confirm that AutoDS has correctly mapped them to the supplier's structure.

  • Connect different suppliers for different variations using the Connect Another Product option, which is useful when different variations are sourced from different suppliers.

To finalize the connection of all untracked variations:

  1. Review all variations and ensure attributes are correctly matched.

  2. Click Connect once all variations are properly configured.

Important: If attributes cannot be matched automatically when you select the product from the Untracked page to connect it to AutoDS, a dropdown will appear for manual selection.

Always verify the correct attribute before finalizing the process, since mismatched attributes may cause incorrect options to appear in your store listings. Double-check variation mappings before completing the connection.

Connect multiple untracked products via a CSV file

Connecting multiple untracked products at once using a CSV file saves significant time when you have a large inventory to link to AutoDS.

To connect multiple untracked products via CSV:

  1. Go to the Untracked Products page.

  2. Click the Add via CSV tab.

  3. Download the CSV File Example to see the correct format.

  4. Fill in the CSV with the following columns:

    • A - Product ID: The product ID from your store (required).

    • B - Source product ID: The product URL or ID from the supplier (required).

    • C - Supplier name: The supplier's name (e.g., AliExpress, Amazon, Walmart).

    • D - Region: The warehouse region (e.g., US, CN).

    • E - Variant SKU: The SKU for specific variants (optional).

  5. Upload the completed CSV file to AutoDS. AutoDS will process the file and connect the products automatically.

Tip: Use Google Sheets to preserve correct formatting to connect multiple untracked products via CSV. Otherwise, ensure you format the Product ID column correctly to avoid errors:

  1. Select the Product ID column.

  2. Right-click the selection and choose Format cells.

  3. Select Number.

  4. Set Decimal Places to 0.

Opening the file with other tools may cause formatting errors like "No product was given to import from untracked." This happens when product IDs are converted to scientific notation or lose trailing zeros.

Here is an example of an incorrectly formatted table to connect multiple untracked products via CSV:

Manage eBay listing categories

When you upload products to eBay using AutoDS, each product must be assigned to the correct eBay listing category during the upload process. Proper categorization during product uploads is crucial for enhancing product visibility, ensuring accurate search placement, and ensuring compliance with eBay’s listing guidelines.

This section explains how eBay categories are assigned during product uploads in AutoDS, how you can change them manually, and how to fix common eBay category errors.

How AutoDS assigns categories

During the product upload process, AutoDS relies on eBay’s own category suggestion system to assign a category to your listing. eBay analyzes the product’s title and attributes you provide and then suggests one or more categories it considers most relevant.

AutoDS automatically applies the first category suggested by eBay to keep your listings aligned with eBay’s classification standards.

Important: Like all listing tools, AutoDS does not manually determine categories. The first category suggested by eBay is automatically selected when you upload a product. This helps ensure compliance with eBay’s guidelines and supports your listing’s visibility in search results. If you believe the suggested category is not accurate for your product, you can update it manually at any time.

Change a product category manually

If the automatically assigned category does not accurately represent your product, you can manually change the eBay listing category of the product in AutoDS. This helps your listing appear in the correct search results and reach the right buyers.

To change a product’s eBay listing category manually in AutoDS:

  1. Go to the Products or Drafts page in your AutoDS account.

  2. Click the product image or the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it.

  3. Open the Categories section.

  4. Choose the desired category from the dropdown menu.

  5. Click Save to apply changes.

The updated eBay category is synchronized with your eBay listing automatically. Your product will appear in the new category on eBay shortly after saving.

Note: If you believe the suggested category is not accurate, always update the eBay listing category manually to ensure proper visibility. Incorrect categorization can reduce your product's discoverability and may result in lower sales.

Fix eBay category errors during product uploads or edits

Sometimes you may encounter eBay category–related errors when uploading or editing products in AutoDS. These errors typically occur when eBay updates its category structure, making previously valid categories obsolete.

Common eBay category error: "The category is not valid, select another category."

This error usually appears when a previously assigned eBay category has been removed, merged, or renamed by eBay.

To resolve eBay category errors in AutoDS when uploading or editing a product:

  1. Open the affected product in your AutoDS account.

  2. Navigate to the Categories section of that product.

  3. Select a new, valid eBay listing category from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Always verify that the final category selected for the product matches eBay's current category structure. You can check eBay's official category lists for reference.

Note: Use the following best practices to manage eBay listing categories for your products in AutoDS:

  • Regularly review your eBay listings in AutoDS: Stay updated with eBay's category changes to avoid interruptions. eBay periodically updates its category structure, so reviewing your active listings in AutoDS helps you identify and fix invalid eBay categories before they cause errors or affect visibility.

  • Set a default eBay listing category for new product uploads: You can set a default eBay listing category for new products in Settings → My Store. This default category applies to future product uploads and can be adjusted anytime. Setting a default category is especially useful when you repeatedly upload similar products to eBay.

  • Optimize product details beyond categories in AutoDS: In addition to managing eBay categories, AutoDS lets you edit product details like titles, descriptions, and images to keep listings optimized. Regular optimization of your product uploads (including the eBay listing category) ensures your products remain competitive and compliant with marketplace requirements.

Settings that impact product uploads

Before uploading products, it is essential to configure the settings that control how AutoDS processes, monitors, and prices your listings. These settings affect every product you upload and determine how AutoDS handles supplier changes, shipping costs, and automation rules during and after the product upload process.

This section covers two critical configuration areas that impact product uploads in AutoDS: General settings and Lister settings. Understanding and configuring these settings correctly ensures your uploads are accurate, automated, and optimized for profitability.

General settings that affect product uploads

The General settings section, located in the General tab of Supplier settings, establishes default configurations for product monitoring and inventory behavior. These settings help maintain consistency across your catalog, including weight units, SKU handling, and supplier selection logic for all products uploaded from the selected supplier.

Default weight unit for shipping calculations

The default weight unit setting allows you to choose between pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), and other available units to ensure consistent weight measurements across your products.

Selecting the correct default weight unit for your listings in AutoDS is essential for:

  • Calculating accurate shipping costs.

  • Displaying correct shipping weights on your listings.

  • Meeting marketplace or selling channel requirements.

Choose the weight unit that matches your primary selling region or the unit required by your selling channel. This helps prevent issues with shipping estimates, fees, and delivery expectations for your product uploads.

To change the default weight unit for your product uploads in AutoDS, go to Supplier settings → General tab and update the Default weight unit field.

Automatic SKU filling for eBay listings

The SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique code used to identify and track products in your inventory. In the General settings, the automatic SKU filling option controls how AutoDS populates the SKU field (custom label) for your eBay listings.

When Enabled:

  • AutoDS uses the original SKU from the source site in your custom label field

  • This allows tracking products using the supplier's SKU system

  • Helpful when managing large catalogs with consistent supplier SKUs

  • Risk: Exposes supplier information to competitors who can identify your sources

When Disabled (Recommended):

  • AutoDS generates unique identifiers instead of using the source SKU

  • Prevents exposing supplier information to customers or competitors

  • Gives you more control over your inventory identification system

  • Protects your best-selling items from competitors' research tools

To change the automatic SKU filling setting for your eBay product uploads in AutoDS, open Supplier settings → General tab, find Automatic SKU filling, and enable or disable it according to your preference.

Protecting Your Listings from Competitors

To protect your best-selling items from competitors' research tools on eBay, you should remove product identifiers from the Custom Label field:

  1. Go to eBay Seller Hub → Listings → Active

  2. Customize your table and add "Custom Label" to display source product identifiers

  3. Select listings in bulk (start with the first 500)

  4. Choose "Edit""Remove from all" (⚠️ do not change other fields)

  5. Click "Save and Close", then confirm changes

  6. Repeat for next batches (501-1000, 1001-1500, etc.)

Important: Work in batches of 500 listings at a time for best results.

Managing SKUs for Product Variations

Multi-variation listings without unique SKUs per variation cannot be properly monitored by AutoDS. This commonly occurs when products were uploaded directly to eBay or through other software, or when SKUs were changed directly on eBay after an AutoDS upload.

Common issues:

  • "Cannot revise a Multi-SKU item when Item ID alone is supplied" - Indicates missing variation-level SKUs

  • Product shows as "Not Supported" - Typically means variations lack unique SKUs

To add SKUs to existing variations:

  1. Open your active listing on eBay and click "Revise your item".

  2. Under Variations, click "Edit".

  3. Select all variations and click "Enter SKU".

  4. Enter any value (text/number combination works).

  5. Click "Save" - eBay will automatically append extra characters to each variation to maintain uniqueness.

  6. Save changes for the entire listing.

Why does my SKU in AutoDS appear as the source ID?

If your SKU appears as a source ID in AutoDS, this happens because the automatic SKU filling setting is enabled in the General settings (General tab → Supplier settings).

To prevent SKUs from showing the supplier's source ID on your store listings:

  • Disable automatic SKU filling in the General settings

  • For existing listings with exposed source IDs, use the bulk removal process described above

  • For variations, ensure each has a unique SKU value before connecting to AutoDS

Best Practices:

  • Configure automatic SKU filling before importing products.

  • Keep automatic SKU filling disabled to hide supplier information.

  • Always ensure each variation has a unique identifier.

  • Update SKUs directly on AutoDS instead of eBay for accurate synchronization.

  • When importing untracked products, enable the Custom Label field first, as it contains the source IDs needed to connect listings to suppliers.

Choose from the supplier’s table (Amazon only)

For Amazon products, the Choose from the supplier’s table option controls how AutoDS selects alternative sellers when the Buy Box seller is not available. This setting impacts how your Amazon-sourced products from AutoDS product uploads are monitored and fulfilled after they are listed.

How monitoring works with the supplier’s table:

  • AutoDS first monitors the Amazon Buy Box (the primary listing displayed when searching for a product).

  • When a product is unavailable in the Buy Box (out of stock, not Prime-eligible, or offered by a different seller), AutoDS refers to the suppliers’ table.

  • Only sellers with at least 80% positive feedback and 500+ ratings are considered, and monitoring is limited to sellers listed on the first page of the suppliers’ list.

You can choose how AutoDS prioritizes Amazon suppliers when using the supplier’s table:

  • Cheapest first: Selects the lowest-priced seller. This option is best when your main focus is on maximizing profit margin and offering competitive pricing to your buyers.

  • Prime first: Selects Prime-eligible sellers first. This option prioritizes fast and reliable shipping, which can improve customer satisfaction and reduce shipping-related complaints.

To change how AutoDS chooses Amazon suppliers from the supplier’s table, go to Supplier settings → General tab for your Amazon supplier and select Cheapest first or Prime first under the supplier selection settings.

What is the Amazon Buy Box?

The Buy Box is the featured “Add to Cart” section on Amazon product pages, where customers can make a direct purchase. The Buy Box seller is typically the merchant Amazon considers most reliable based on price, fulfillment speed, and seller performance.

Winning the Buy Box means your offer is the default option buyers see, which significantly increases sales potential.

Why does AutoDS limit monitoring to sellers on the first page?

For Amazon suppliers, AutoDS limits monitoring to sellers on the first page of the supplier list, balancing performance, reliability, and system efficiency. Sellers on later pages often have weaker performance metrics, increasing the risk of shipping delays, quality issues, and customer complaints.

Prime only (Amazon only)

The Prime only setting controls whether AutoDS tracks only Amazon Prime-eligible products from your selected supplier.

When 'Prime only' is enabled in the Supplier Settings → General tab:

  • AutoDS only tracks Amazon Prime-eligible products.

  • If a product loses its Prime status, AutoDS automatically sets it to On Hold (quantity 0) in your store to prevent new sales with slower or less reliable shipping.

To enable or disable Prime only monitoring for Amazon product uploads in AutoDS, go to Supplier settings → General tab for your Amazon supplier and toggle the Prime only option.

Why use Prime only monitoring for your Amazon product uploads:

  • Supports fast, reliable shipping (typically within 1–2 days).

  • Helps protect your seller reputation by reducing delayed deliveries.

  • Keeps fulfillment standards consistent across your store.

If "Prime-only" is disabled, AutoDS will choose an alternative seller that matches your other preferences (Cheapest first or Prime first). This provides more flexibility in pricing but may result in longer shipping times for some orders.

Note: Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA) orders utilize Prime when available for optimal pricing and shipping.

Walmart only

The "Walmart only" feature controls how AutoDS monitors and fulfills products sourced from Walmart membership sellers.

When 'Walmart only' is enabled in the Supplier Settings → General tab:

  • AutoDS tracks only products from Walmart membership sellers who meet specific quality and performance standards, helping reduce fulfillment issues and maintain more consistent delivery times for your Walmart-sourced product uploads.

  • If the Buy Box seller is not part of the Walmart membership, AutoDS automatically sets the product to On Hold status in your store.

To enable or disable "Walmart only" monitoring for your Walmart product uploads in AutoDS, open Supplier settings → General tab for your Walmart supplier and toggle the "Walmart only" option.

Important: Walmart membership is not supported when using the Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA) automation method. For FBA orders from Walmart, you must order them manually.

Lister Settings: upload preferences

The Lister settings in AutoDS let you define default preferences for your product uploads, including product details, shipping methods, templates, and policies for each supplier and store. By configuring these settings, you:

  • Save time by applying default values to all new product uploads instead of configuring each listing manually.

  • Keep consistency across different suppliers and selling channels with supplier-specific defaults.

  • Automate shipping behavior and ensure accurate prices that already include shipping costs in your source price.

  • Protect profit margins from changes in supplier shipping fees by combining Lister settings with your pricing settings.

  • Control your strategy by choosing between cheaper or faster shipping options (with valid tracking) according to your business goals.

Once configured, Lister settings are automatically applied to all new uploads, so you can scale your catalog without repeating the same configuration steps.

How to access Lister settings

The Lister settings can be accessed directly from your AutoDS account. To configure your upload preferences:

  1. Go to Settings → Supplier settings → Lister.

  2. In this panel, define store-specific and supplier-specific defaults for new uploads.

Note: Changes in Lister settings apply only to newly uploaded products. To update existing listings, use the bulk action tool.

Click here to learn more about bulk changes in AutoDS.

Main Lister settings overview

The main configuration panel in the Lister settings includes essential options that control how products are uploaded and priced across your stores. Each setting can be customized per supplier to match your business needs.

The table below summarizes the main Lister settings and their impact on product uploads and listing behavior in AutoDS.

#

Setting

Description

1

Copy From Another Supplier

Duplicate existing supplier settings to apply preferences across multiple suppliers quickly.

Saves time by avoiding repetitive configuration when scaling to new suppliers.

2

Default Product Quantity

Set the number of units displayed in your store for each new listing (e.g., "10").

Helps you control perceived availability and stay within platform listing limits while managing buyer expectations.

3

Default Item Country (only for eBay API)

Select the item's country of origin and enter the postal code from which the product ships.

Ensures accurate location data for eBay compliance and helps buyers estimate delivery times.

Click here to read more about the eBay API Integration.

4

Zip Code (only for eBay API)

Enter the postal code from which the product ships.

This set automatically resolves shipping location and improves delivery accuracy, reducing buyer questions about shipping origin.

5

Shipping Method Selection

Choose how AutoDS calculates shipping:

  • Cheapest: lowest-cost option from the supplier.

  • Cheapest with tracking: the cheapest tracked method.

  • Fastest with tracking: fastest tracked deliveries.

Optimizes shipping strategy to balance cost savings with customer satisfaction and tracking visibility.

Refer to the Shipping Method Configuration section below for more details.

6

Default Listing Template (Not for Shopify or Facebook)

Assign a template for each supplier (create/manage via the Templates tab).

Ensures consistent branding and formatting across listings, saving time and maintaining professional presentation.

7

Use Dynamic Policies

AutoDS generates eBay business policies based on estimated delivery dates.

Automatically adapts policies to match actual shipping times, reducing policy violations and buyer complaints.

8

Payment Policy

Defines accepted payment methods for your store listings.

Clarifies how customers can pay, reducing checkout friction and building buyer trust.

9

Shipping Policy

Specifies how items will be shipped, including delivery time and cost.

Sets clear expectations on delivery, minimizing disputes and negative feedback.

10

Return Policy

Outlines the return window, conditions, and who pays return shipping.

Protects your business while giving buyers confidence, potentially increasing conversion rates.

Note: Some settings (such as templates and specific policies) may not be available for all store types.

Shipping method configuration

Selecting the proper shipping method in your Lister Settings ensures AutoDS calculates accurate costs and delivery times for your listings.

Example: AliExpress, with a product base price $5:

  • Cheapest (without tracking): $5 + $0.64 = $5.64

  • Cheapest with tracking: $5 + $1.72 = $6.72

  • Fastest with tracking: $5 + $6.90 = $11.90

This configuration works together with the Include shipping price feature (located in the AutoDS Pricing Settings) to ensure your final product pricing reflects both the supplier cost and the shipping method you've selected.

Why this matters: Including shipping costs in your product's source price protects your profit margins from unexpected changes in supplier shipping fees. The shipping cost is added to the base product price before your pricing rules are applied, so your markup stays consistent.

Advanced Lister Settings options

Beyond the main settings, Advanced Lister Settings offer powerful options that provide precise control over your listing behavior. Use these settings to automate complex workflows, avoid platform violations, and maximize your listing performance without manual work.

Why use advanced settings: They help you scale faster by handling edge cases automatically, like filtering problematic products, managing variant complexity, and staying compliant with marketplace rules.

The table below explains each advanced Lister setting, what it does, and why it matters for controlling how your products are uploaded and managed in AutoDS.

#

Setting

Description (what it is and why it matters)

1

Allow Duplicates

Skip duplicate checks when uploading products. Not recommended for eBay as it can lead to listing violations and account warnings.

Enable this only when you intentionally need to create backup listings.

2

Allow OOS Variations

Upload product variations even when they're out of stock at the supplier.

This keeps your listings complete and prevents losing the variation structure, though you'll need to monitor inventory to avoid selling unavailable items.

3

Capitalize Title

Converts each word in the title to uppercase (example: New Jacket For Man). Gives you the option to standardize title formatting across all your listings for a consistent look.

4

Autofill Brand

When disabled, "Does not apply" is used instead of auto-detecting the brand. This helps reduce VERO violation risk by avoiding unauthorized use of brand names, which is critical for keeping your account safe.

Click here to read more about Vero Protection.

5

Split Variants into Products

Upload each variant (e.g., color/size) as a separate listing instead of using the variation system.

This can increase your total listing count and improve visibility in search, but requires more inventory management effort.

6

Allow VERO/Blocked Keywords

Upload products even when VERO-flagged or blocked terms are detected. A high-risk option and should only be used when you have explicit rights to sell branded items, as it can result in listing removal or account suspension.

7

Add Categories to Tags

Automatically add internal tags from source categories for performance tracking. This makes it easier to filter and analyze which product categories perform best in your reports.

8

Upload Variations

Allow product variations (e.g., size, color) in your listings. It consolidates similar products into one listing, improving the buyer experience and reducing listing fees on most platforms.

If 'Upload Variations' is disabled, no variations will be uploaded.

9

Automatically add your custom watermark to product images to protect your images from being copied by competitors and help reinforce your brand identity.

10

Duplicate Main Image up to 12

Repeat the main product image to fill all available image slots. This enhances your visual presence in listings and can increase click-through rates on platforms that display multiple thumbnails.

11

Allow Marketplace Sellers

Let AutoDS monitor and source from non-retailer sellers (e.g., FBM sellers on Amazon).

Expands your product seller options, but may reduce reliability; use it cautiously to maintain quality control.

12

Private Listing (eBay only)

Hide buyer information from public feedback, preventing competitors from tracking your sales.

It protects your winning products from being discovered and copied by other sellers.

Product monitoring settings

The Lister Settings also includes the Price and Stock Monitoring feature, which automatically updates your listings when supplier stock or pricing changes.

Click here to read more about product monitoring in AutoDS.

AI optimization tools

The AutoDS Lister Settings provides AI-powered tools to help you optimize your product titles and descriptions. These tools generate buyer-oriented content that can improve your listing performance and conversion rates.

  • AI Title: Provide tone or keywords to generate a title.

  • AI Description: Create buyer-oriented descriptions.

Click here to read more about the AutoDS AI tools.

Default item specifics

Predefining item specifics in your Lister Settings ensures AutoDS applies consistent attributes to all listings. This is essential on platforms like eBay, which require detailed product attributes for better search visibility and compliance.

You can configure default item specifics that AutoDS will automatically apply to all new uploads, reducing the time spent on manual entry.

eBay stores only: policy & location settings

Within your Lister Settings in AutoDS, eBay stores require additional configuration for location and business policies. These settings ensure your listings comply with eBay requirements and provide buyers with clear information about payment, shipping, and returns.

Default Item Country and Zipcode: Within this setting, you can set the default item location to meet eBay policy requirements. This information helps buyers estimate delivery times and ensures compliance with eBay's listing standards.

Selling platform policies: they control how payment, shipping, returns, and dynamic shipping rules are applied to your eBay listings in AutoDS. Use the table below to see what each policy does, when to use it, and which prerequisites or limitations apply.

Setting

What it does

Use dynamic policies
(eBay API only)

With the "Use dynamic policies" feature, AutoDS automatically creates and applies eBay shipping policies based on real-time supplier delivery data. It generates a policy tailored to your supplier’s delivery estimates and applies it to your listings during import, ensuring that buyers always see accurate delivery timeframes without the need for manual maintenance of multiple policies.

To use this feature, your eBay store must be connected to AutoDS via API, you must opt in to business policies on your eBay account, and both your AutoDS and eBay store settings must be configured correctly.

The "Use dynamic policies" option is handy if you:

  • Work with several U.S. suppliers that have different shipping times.

  • Want to avoid creating separate shipping policies manually.

  • Import products in bulk and need a faster setup.

  • Face delivery issues or complaints caused by outdated or mismatched policies.

Payment policy

Select which eBay business payment policy AutoDS should apply to the listing. This controls the payment methods and terms available to your buyers at checkout. If nothing appears in the dropdown, it means you have not opted in to eBay’s business policies yet.

Shipping policy

Select the eBay shipping policy that defines how the item is shipped, including handling time, delivery time, and shipping costs. If nothing appears in the dropdown, it means you have not opted in to eBay’s business policies yet.

Return policy

Select the eBay return policy that defines whether the buyer can return the item, under which conditions, and within which time window. If nothing appears in the dropdown, it means you have not opted in to eBay’s business policies yet.

Note:

If you use an eBay non-API (MIP) store, you must create and manage your policies directly in eBay. If you are working with Hipshipper, this feature is not recommended.

Troubleshooting lister settings

When working with the "Use dynamic policies" feature, you may encounter certain issues. This section covers the most common problems and their solutions:

Issue

Workaround

Still asked to select a shipping policy

This happens if the listing was created before enabling Dynamic Policies.

Enable it for existing listings and reimport the product.

Shipping time on eBay doesn’t match the supplier's estimate

AutoDS calculates delivery time as handling time + supplier shipping time.

Adjust handling time in your listing settings to better match your delivery window.

If the issue persists or the item isn’t monitored correctly, contact AutoDS support.

Tools to optimize your upload workflow

AutoDS provides specialized tools that enhance your product upload workflow, making it faster, more organized, and more efficient. These tools help you source products, import items with one click, organize your catalog, and protect multiple accounts from duplicate listings.

Understanding how to use these tools effectively can significantly reduce the time spent on manual tasks and help you scale your business more quickly.

AutoDS Helper (Chrome Extension)

The AutoDS Helper is a Chrome Extension that enables one-click product imports directly from supplier websites. When browsing products on supported supplier sites, you can instantly import items to your AutoDS account without manually copying URLs or product IDs.

The extension also helps with buyer address copying during order fulfillment, streamlining the entire workflow from product research to order processing.

If you would like to learn more about the AutoDS Helper Chrome Extension, you can click here.

Upload from AutoDS Finder

The AutoDS Finder is a product research and upload tool that helps you quickly find hot-selling, profitable items and upload them directly to your store. Instead of spending hours on manual product research, Finder scans supported selling platforms for products with proven sales history and then looks for the same or similar items from supported suppliers.

With AutoDS Finder, you can:

  • Save time by replacing manual product research with curated, high-performing products.

  • Keep a consistent flow of new items in your store using bulk, scheduled, or recurring uploads.

  • Select products based on sales performance categories (Basic, Popular, Best Sellers).

  • Upload items individually or in bulk, choosing immediate, scheduled, or recurring uploads according to your strategy.

  • Automate part of your product selection and upload process so you can focus on optimization and sales.

Important: AutoDS Finder does not work as an upload tool for Amazon stores. It can source products from Amazon as a supplier, but you cannot use Finder to upload products to Amazon as a selling channel.

You can access AutoDS Finder from your sidebar: Add products → AutoDS Finder.

AutoDS Finder categories and credits

The AutoDS Finder utilizes product performance categories and credits to determine the number of products you can upload and the level of sales history you’re targeting.

Categories and credit cost:

  • Basic: 3+ sales/month → 1 AutoDS Finder credit

  • Popular: 5+ sales/month → 2 AutoDS Finder credits

  • Best Sellers: 8+ sales/month → 4 AutoDS Finder credits

The higher the category, the stronger the sales performance and the more AutoDS Finder credits each upload uses.

How AutoDS Finder credits work:

  • You start with 400 free AutoDS Finder credits when you register.

  • After that, you can purchase more credits in your AutoDS account by clicking the 'Buy more' link next to your credit balance.

  • Larger credit packages usually reduce the cost per credit.

  • Credits are only deducted when a draft is created or a product is successfully scheduled for upload.

Important: AutoDS Finder credits are non-refundable once used, even if supplier conditions (price, stock, or shipping) change or do not match your preferences, or if you later decide to use a similar product from another supplier.

AutoDS Finder Supported suppliers

The AutoDS Finder supports a wide range of suppliers, including:

  • AliExpress.

  • Walmart.

  • Home Depot.

  • Banggood.

  • Costco.

  • Costway.

  • And more suppliers are being added regularly.

Uploading options

When using AutoDS Finder, you can choose how products are uploaded to your store:

  • Immediate upload:
Products are uploaded instantly to your store using your default upload settings.

  • Scheduled upload:
You select a specific date and time for the upload to occur automatically. This is useful for planning campaigns, coordinating promotions, or controlling when new products are introduced in your store.

  • Recurring upload:
Automates daily uploads at a time you choose, ensuring your store is continuously refreshed with new products.

  • Bulk upload:
After selecting your desired Finder categories and products, you are directed to the bulk upload page, where you can choose between immediate, scheduled, or recurring uploads.

How to set a recurring import

Recurring imports with AutoDS Finder allow you to automate daily product uploads, ensuring your store always has fresh inventory. To set it, follow these steps:

  1. In Finder, select the quantity of products, the supplier, and the region.

  2. At the import stage, click the arrow (^) and select Publish Recurring.

  3. Choose the daily time you want the uploads to occur.

  4. Click Next to confirm.

  5. You will see a confirmation notification.

Important: The time you select for recurring uploads in AutoDS Finder is based on your local time zone as displayed in your account. If a Virtual Assistant (VA) manages recurring uploads for you from their own AutoDS access, they will see their own local time zone in Finder.

Ensure that you convert the desired upload time to the local time zone of your selling channels, so products are uploaded at the correct time.

Tag feature for Shopify

The Tag feature in AutoDS enables Shopify users to categorize product listings with custom labels, facilitating easier filtering, grouping, and management of products. You can tag products by niche, season, supplier, performance, or other criteria to streamline your workflow and keep your inventory organized.

Important: The Tag feature is available only for Shopify as a selling channel.

Why use AutoDS tags for Shopify

Using tags on your Shopify products in AutoDS helps you:

  • Group and filter products based on attributes such as holiday, supplier, or profit level.

  • Improve bulk actions by targeting specific tagged items.

  • Save time when editing, updating, or reviewing product listings.

  • Manage multiple stores or product categories with more control.

Examples of how Shopify tags can be used in practice:

  • Tagging seasonal items (e.g., Christmas) so they can be quickly found and removed after the season.

  • Assigning tags with a VA’s name to track which products each VA uploaded.

  • Grouping products by research method or product-finding technique.

  • Tagging updated listings (e.g., Title Edited) to avoid reworking the same items.

How to add or edit tags from the Products page

You can also manage Shopify tags after products have been uploaded from the Products page as follows:

  1. Go to the Products tab in your AutoDS account.

  2. Click the product you want to edit.

  3. In the Product tab, find the Tags section.

  4. Add new tags, edit existing ones, or remove tags as needed.

Tip: You can apply the same tag to multiple listings at once using bulk selection and bulk actions.

How to filter products by tag

Filtering by tag helps you work only with specific groups of Shopify products (for example, a campaign, a season, or a supplier group). To filter products by tag:

  1. Go to the Products page.

  2. Click the Tag filter option in the filter bar.

  3. Select one or more tags to view only the products associated with them.

Note: Filtering by tag is especially useful when you want to edit, analyze, or promote a specific group of products (for example, all Black Friday or all Top Seller items).

Tips for tag organization (Shopify)

To keep your Shopify tags functional and easy to manage in AutoDS:

  • Use consistent naming, for example: Black Friday, Top Seller, Spring Collection.

  • Avoid overly generic tags such as Product or Test.

  • Consider tagging based on:

    • Supplier or region (e.g., US Supplier, EU Warehouse).

    • Season or event (e.g., Summer, Back to School).

    • Profit margin or performance (e.g., High Margin, Best Seller).

    • Automation settings or workflow (e.g., Needs Review, Title Edited, VA John).

AutoDS multiple accounts protection

The AutoDS multiple accounts protection feature helps you avoid uploading the same product to more than one store on the same selling platform. By linking your stores with a shared tag, AutoDS can detect and block duplicate listings automatically, helping you keep your accounts safe and compliant.

Important: This feature is especially useful if you manage multiple eBay stores from the same IP, device, or seller identity.

Using the multiple accounts protection feature in AutoDS allows you to:

  • Prevent duplicate listings across connected stores on the same selling platform.

  • Reduce the risk of account flagging or suspension due to repeated listings.

  • Manage multiple stores securely, while keeping each store’s catalog unique.

  • Set everything up using tags, making the configuration simple and flexible.

How AutoDS multiple accounts protection works

The "AutoDS multiple accounts protection" feature works by assigning the same store tag to two or more of your stores in AutoDS:

  • When multiple stores share the same tag, AutoDS recognizes them as linked for multiple accounts protection.

  • If you try to upload a product that already exists in any of the linked stores, AutoDS detects the duplicate and blocks the upload to the other store.

This prevents you from listing the same product in multiple accounts on the same selling platform.

How to enable AutoDS multiple accounts protection

To enable multiple accounts protection in AutoDS:

  1. Log in to your AutoDS account and go to Store settings.

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the store you want to set up.

  3. In the store settings window, click the tag icon.

  4. Create a new tag (for example, Shared-eBay), then save it.

  5. Repeat the same process for every other store you want to connect and apply the same tag to each of them.

  6. Once all relevant stores share the same tag, AutoDS will automatically prevent duplicate product uploads between those stores.

Tip: The shared tag is what links the stores and allows AutoDS multiple accounts protection to work.

How to confirm that multiple accounts protection is active

When two or more stores share the same tag (for example, Test), a blue tag icon will appear next to them in Store settings. This blue tag icon confirms that multiple accounts protection is active for those stores, and AutoDS will block duplicate uploads between them.

Tips and best practices

To get the most out of AutoDS multiple accounts protection:

  • Use clear tag names (for example, Main-eBay, Group-eBay-US, Group-Amazon) to avoid confusion.

  • Only apply the same tag to stores that really should not share the same products.

  • Review your existing products and remove duplicates manually before enabling this feature, so your starting point is clean.

Note: AutoDS multiple accounts protection helps manage risk and prevent new duplicate uploads, but it is still your responsibility to ensure each store maintains a unique product selection that aligns with the policies of your selling platform.

Regrab product details

The Regrab product details feature in AutoDS lets you update an existing product in your store using a new supplier URL or product ID (buy ID), without deleting the listing. It’s useful when:

  • The supplier changes the product ID or URL.

  • The product is discontinued, and you find the same or a similar product from another supplier.

  • You find a better supplier with lower prices, faster shipping, or better quality.

  • The URL structure changes, but the product itself remains the same.

By using the Regrab product details feature, you quickly replace outdated or unavailable products, keep your listing accurate with the latest supplier data, save time (no need to re-upload from scratch), and maintain the same listing history and performance metrics in your store.

Prerequisites for using the Regrab product details

Before using the Regrab product details feature, make sure:

  • The product is non-variant: Regrab works only for non-variant products.
If the product has variations (size, color, etc.), Regrab is not supported. In that case, delete the product and re-upload it with the new source.

  • You have the correct buy ID or product URL: Ensure you have the correct product URL or buy ID of the replacement product.
An incorrect link or ID can cause mismatched product information.

  • Supplier and region are correct: If the replacement product comes from a different supplier or warehouse region, you must also update the supplier and region during the Regrab process so that monitoring and automation work as expected.

How to use 'Regrab product details'

To regrab product details and replace an existing product in AutoDS, follow the steps described below:

  1. Go to the Products page in your AutoDS account.

  2. Select the product you want to update.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the product.

  4. Click Regrab product details.

  5. In the pop-up window, enter the new product buy ID or product URL.

  6. Update the supplier and region if needed.

  7. Click Update to confirm.

AutoDS will then:

  • Grab the new details from the supplier, and

  • Replace the old data for that product in your store (title, description, images, pricing, and stock levels) based on the new source.

Important: When you confirm the Regrab product details, AutoDS overwrites the old product details with the new ones from the supplier. Always make sure the replacement product is appropriate and correctly matched (same type of item and suitable for your audience) before completing the update.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What happens if I accidentally upload a product to the wrong store?

If you accidentally upload a product to the wrong store in AutoDS, you need to delete the product from the incorrect store and re-upload it to the correct store. AutoDS does not have a "move product between stores" feature, so the product must be removed and imported again.

To fix an accidental upload to the wrong store:

  1. Go to the Products page in the incorrect store.

  2. Select the product.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮).

  4. Choose Delete.

  5. Switch to the correct store using the store selector at the top-left of your AutoDS account.

  6. Upload the product again using your preferred import method (Single Product, Bulk Import, or CSV upload).

Important: Always verify the selected store before starting any upload process to avoid this issue. The store name is displayed at the top-left of your AutoDS account, and you should confirm it matches your intended destination before clicking Import or Add Draft.

Can I change the supplier of a product after it's already imported and being monitored?

Changing the supplier of a product after it's already imported and being monitored in AutoDS depends on whether the product has variations:

For non-variant products:

  • Use the Regrab product details feature to replace the supplier by entering a new product URL or ID from a different supplier.

For variant products:

  • The Regrab feature is not supported.

  • You must delete the product and re-upload it with the new supplier.

To change the supplier for a non-variant product using the Regrab product details feature:

  1. Go to the Products page.

  2. Select the product.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮).

  4. Choose Regrab product details.

  5. Enter the new supplier's product URL or ID.

  6. Update the supplier and region fields.

  7. Click Update.

AutoDS will then update the product information, pricing, and stock levels based on the new supplier source.

Note: When changing suppliers using Regrab product details, ensure the replacement product is similar or identical to the original to avoid customer confusion. The new supplier's product details will completely overwrite the existing information, including title, description, images, and pricing.

What should I do if a supplier changes their shipping costs after I've already uploaded products?

If a supplier changes their shipping costs after you've already uploaded products to your store via AutoDS, the system will automatically adjust your product pricing during the next monitoring cycle if you have the correct settings enabled.

Automatic adjustment requirements:

  • "Include shipping price" must be enabled in your Lister Settings.

  • Price & Stock Monitoring must be enabled in your Supplier Settings.

How AutoDS handles shipping cost changes:

  • AutoDS monitors shipping costs along with product prices and stock levels.

  • Changes in shipping fees are reflected in your listings according to your monitoring frequency.

  • Your profit margins remain protected because shipping costs are added to the source price before your markup is applied.

If "Include shipping price" is disabled:

  • Shipping cost changes will not affect your product pricing.

  • You may experience reduced profit margins or losses on orders.

To protect your profit margins from unexpected shipping cost increases:

  1. Go to Settings → Supplier Settings → Lister for each supplier.

  2. Enable "Include shipping price".

  3. This ensures shipping costs are added to the source price before your markup is applied.

Important: Monitoring frequency depends on your AutoDS plan:

  • Import 200 plan: updates once every 24 hours.

  • Higher-tier plans: multiple updates per day.

If you notice a sudden shipping cost increase from a supplier, manually review your affected products and adjust pricing if necessary before the next automatic monitoring cycle.

How long does AutoDS keep monitoring a product after I upload it?

AutoDS keeps monitoring a product indefinitely after you upload it, as long as the product remains active in your Products page and you maintain an active AutoDS subscription with monitoring enabled for that supplier. Product monitoring continues automatically without any time limits or expiration dates.

Monitoring stops only under specific conditions:

  • You delete the product from your Products page.

  • You disable Price & Stock Monitoring in your Supplier Settings for that supplier.

  • The product is moved to On Hold status (quantity set to 0).

  • Your AutoDS subscription expires or is downgraded to the Import 200 plan (which offers limited monitoring frequency).

  • The supplier discontinues the product and it can no longer be tracked.

Important: Even if a product has zero sales for months, AutoDS continues monitoring it to ensure accurate stock and pricing information. If you want to stop monitoring specific products without deleting them, you can disable monitoring for those items individually or disable monitoring for the entire supplier in your Supplier Settings.

What happens to my uploaded products if I downgrade my AutoDS plan?

When you downgrade your AutoDS plan, the impact on your uploaded products depends on several factors:

Product limits:

  • If your new plan has a lower product limit than the number of products currently uploaded, you will not be able to upload new products until you reduce your active product count below the new plan limit.

  • Your existing products will remain active and continue to function normally.

Monitoring frequency changes:

  • If you downgrade to the Import 200 plan, Price & Stock Monitoring updates reduce from multiple times per day to once every 24 hours.

  • Your listings may show outdated stock or pricing information for longer periods.

Feature access:

  • Some advanced features like AutoDS Finder, certain automation tools, and higher-tier integrations may become unavailable after downgrading.

  • This affects your workflow efficiency.

Before downgrading your AutoDS plan:

  • Review your current product count and ensure it falls within the new plan's limits.

  • If you exceed the limit, consider removing underperforming products before the downgrade takes effect.

  • To check your current product count, go to the Products page and view the total count displayed at the top of the page.
