Automatically forward your supplier’s tracking emails to AutoDS for seamless order tracking

This article explains how to set up email forwarding from your supplier’s email account to your unique AutoDS tracking email.

By enabling forwarding, AutoDS can automatically update tracking information for your orders, saving time, reducing manual work, and ensuring accurate order updates for your buyers.

After completing this guide, all supplier tracking details will sync automatically with your AutoDS account.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to the Gmail account you use to receive supplier tracking updates.

  2. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner → select See all settings.

  3. Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. If the section doesn’t load correctly, reload the page.

  4. Under Forward a copy of incoming mail to, paste your Unique Tracking Email from AutoDS (Supplier settings → Orders → Your Unique Tracking Email).

  5. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

💡 Tip: Forwarding all inbox emails is recommended. This avoids issues if suppliers change the format or sender of tracking emails. Irrelevant emails are automatically discarded. For more security, you can create a separate Gmail account used only for suppliers.

 


 

Possible Issues & Workarounds

Issue Workaround
Google verification appears

This happens if you use Add a forwarding address.

As explained in Step 3, simply reload the page and ensure the forwarding section loads correctly.

Tracking details not updating

Tracking updates may take 6–12 hours after the order is marked as shipped.

Check:
- The order is in Ordered status.
- Correct Buy Order ID and Buyer Account are entered.
- You are using the same Gmail account that receives tracking emails from your supplier.

- The unique AutoDS tracking email was entered correctly.
- Your Buyer Account is set to Active / Tracking Updates only.

If all checks are correct and tracking is still missing, contact support.
