AutoDS Tracking Conversion Generator: convert Amazon TBA number

Marketplace-ready tracking (UPS/FedEx/DHL) to keep buyers informed and reduce claims.

Introduction

Amazon often provides TBA tracking numbers (Amazon Logistics), which many selling platforms don’t recognize. This can cause upload errors, buyer disputes, and claims.

The AutoDS Tracking Conversion Generator converts TBA numbers into valid tracking numbers from carriers like UPS, FedEx, or DHL. These converted numbers are recognized by platforms such as eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop, and more.

Using this tool helps keep buyers updated, reduces claims, and ensures compliance with marketplace policies.

Benefits

  • Converts TBA numbers into valid carrier formats.

  • Reduces claims and complaints from unsupported tracking.

  • Keeps buyers informed with compatible tracking updates.

  • Meets marketplace delivery standards automatically.

  • Saves time by automating tracking updates.

Getting started: what you need to know

  • Amazon Logistics only: works exclusively with Amazon Logistics tracking numbers (TBA). If another carrier is used, the tracking will not be converted.

  • Tracking behavior: converted numbers don’t show the real delivery path. AutoDS marks the order as Delivered based on Amazon’s estimated delivery date.

  • Supported countries: available for Amazon orders from US, UK, DE, FR, AU.

  • Retry attempts: AutoDS tries up to 3 times to generate a valid tracking number. If it fails, the original TBA is used.

  • Credits usage: each conversion consumes 1 Auto-Order credit (in addition to the credit used for order processing).

  • Track updates: all progress and actions are visible in Order Logs & Tracking Updates.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Which suppliers are supported?
A: The feature works only with Amazon Logistics tracking numbers (TBA) from US, UK, DE, FR, AU.

Q: Can I use this with AliExpress or other suppliers?
A: This feature is designed exclusively for Amazon Logistics tracking numbers.

Q: Why do I still see the original Amazon TBA instead of a converted number?
A: This can happen if:

  • The feature was not enabled when the order was processed.

  • There were not enough Auto-Order credits available.

  • Conversion was attempted three times without success.
In these situations, the original TBA is uploaded. If everything is set correctly and you are still experiencing the issue, submit a ticket to the Orders Team.

Q: Why does the tracking photo differ from the buyer’s delivery location?
A: Converted numbers are based on the city and estimated delivery date, not the exact delivery address. Carrier photos may appear, but they are not from the buyer’s actual address.

Q: Why didn’t conversion apply to some of my orders even though the feature is active?
A: Conversion applies only to new orders created after the feature is enabled. It does not update past orders.

Q: When does conversion begin?
A: Conversion starts once Amazon marks the order as Shipped. AutoDS checks for updates every 6–12 hours. If more than 12 hours pass and the status is still “Ordered”, open a ticket with the Orders Team.

Q: Can I manually convert tracking numbers outside AutoDS?
A: Tracking conversion works only within AutoDS. Orders must appear in your AutoDS account for the feature to process them.

👉 Learn More: Why an order doesn’t appear

Q: Why does AutoDS show “Delivered” while my store doesn’t?
A: AutoDS updates delivery status internally, but selling channels handle this differently:

  • Some platforms (like eBay) update automatically.

  • Others (like TikTok Shop or WooCommerce) require you to update manually.
