Quantity is not valid (error 105 / code 515)

This error comes from eBay and indicates that your listing settings do not allow AutoDS to set quantity to “0.” Without this setting, AutoDS cannot place the item as Out of Stock (OOS) when needed.

  1. Log into your eBay account.

  2. Go to Account Settings.

  3. Select Selling Preferences.

  4. Turn ON the Multi-Quantity Listings option.

Once enabled, your GTC (Good ‘Til Cancelled) listings can have quantity “0” and remain active. AutoDS will then be able to set items as Out of Stock automatically.

Note

  • This error will appear in your Products page for the specific listing.
  • Make sure you enable the Multi-Quantity Listing feature so your listings are not ended after the last unit is sold. If the feature is off, eBay will automatically end the listing once the final item is purchased.

Upload errors

If you imported products to your non-API store but they don’t appear on eBay:

  1. Go to View details immediately after import to check the status.

  2. If the upload failed, the error reason will appear in the status column.

  3. If you scheduled uploads, check the Scheduled Uploads section from the Drafts page to see if errors occurred.

Check the Chrome extension error logs

  3. Click Export Logs to download a CSV of the errors.

  4. If you see a disconnection notice, reconnect your extension by clicking the link provided and completing the process until you reach the File Exchange page in eBay.

  5. After reconnecting, clear your logs to keep track of new issues only.

Check the upload status in SellerHub Reports

  1. Go to your eBay Seller Hub ReportsUpload Reports page.

  2. Review the list of files:

    • Each line represents an uploaded file or a changed file (price/stock update).

    • At the end of each file name, you will see a reference ID.

    • The status column will show if the action was successful or if it failed.

  3. Identify the correct file:

    • If the issue is with an upload, look for the upload file.

    • If the issue is with a product update, look for the change file.

    • Sometimes, AutoDS Support may give you the specific reference ID to check.

    • If not, download all relevant files (request and response files) from that day and search for the one containing the specific item or upload.

  4. Send both files to the AutoDS support agent handling your case so they can investigate further.

Note: AutoDS sends updates to eBay every 60 minutes. Normally, your item will appear within 1 hour, but it can take longer if SellerHub servers are delayed.
