Managing Imported Drafts: How to monitor import status progress

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to the “Drafts” Page

  1. On the left menu, click “Drafts”.
  2. You’ll see all imported products (image 1) that haven’t been published yet.
  3. You’ll receive a message (image 2) confirming that your product upload has been submitted to the import process.




Step 2: Review the “Status” bar

Each product draft has a status label in the right-hand column. These indicate whether the import was successful or if there’s an issue to address.

Import In Progress

The system is currently importing the product. This can take up to 30 minutes or more, depending on how many products are being imported or uploaded.

Wait for the import to complete. If not completed within 30 minutes, wait up to 24 hours before retrying, this could be due to server overload.

Imported Successfully

The product was imported without issues and is ready for editing or publishing.

Edit the draft or publish it directly.

Failed to Import

There was a problem with the product import. Hover over the status to view the reason for failure.

Correct the issue or delete the draft.
