Fulfilled by AutoDS balance: how to load funds to your account and check history
Learn how to add funds to your AutoDS balance to cover product and shipping costs for FBA orders.
Introduction
When a customer pays you through your selling channel, AutoDS can’t access that money directly to pay the supplier. That’s why you need a Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA) balance.
This prepaid balance covers the total product and shipping costs of your orders, allowing AutoDS to process them automatically and seamlessly.

Prerequisites
Before loading balance, keep in mind:

The service supports USD only.

If you enabled Include Shipping Price, shipping is added to the product’s buy price.

For products with Worldwide shipping, you must configure shipping policies on your selling channel.

A valid billing agreement must be set up for PayPal/Payoneer.

Facebook Marketplace does not support automatic order sync.

Always maintain enough balance to process all pending FBA orders.
What is a sufficient balance?
Your balance must cover:

All pending orders – The total cost of all orders currently “In Order Progress.” If your balance is insufficient, the system will fail them automatically.

Maximum Buy Price per order – This includes:

Buy Price (including tax)

Order Profit

Maximum Loss (backup for fluctuations)

Formula:
Maximum Buy Price = Buy Price (with tax) + Order Profit + Maximum Loss
Example: If the Buy Price is $10, Order Profit is $1.30, and Maximum Loss is $3, the Maximum Buy Price is $14.30. Your balance must cover at least this amount for the order to go through.
Loading your balance for the first time

A special $15 option is available only for your very first load.

After you add funds once (any amount), this $15 option will no longer appear.
How to load balance with PayPal

2 | In the pop-up, select PayPal, then click Add Account. Enter your PayPal details and nickname, then approve the billing agreement. |

Note: A 5% fee applies. Funds load instantly.
How to load balance with Payoneer

⚠️ Important: You must hold a sufficient USD balance in Payoneer. A 3% processing fee applies (e.g., a $100 top-up costs $103).
How to load balance with a credit card

How to Check the Fulfilled by AutoDS Balance History
You can view all your transactions, charges, refunds, and deposits in the Balance History. This helps you track payments, reconcile activity, and ensure your balance is updated correctly.

Q: Why do I need to load balance if my customers already paid me?
A: Payments from your buyers go directly to your selling platform (eBay, Shopify, etc.). AutoDS cannot access those funds. The Managed Balance ensures AutoDS can pay the supplier for your orders.

Q: How much balance should I load?
A: We recommend loading enough to cover all your pending orders.
Remember, this isn't just the item's current price; it must also cover the Maximum Buy Price for each order, which includes:
- Buy Price (including tax): This is the actual cost of the product from your supplier, plus any applicable fees and taxes.
- Order Profit: This is the specific profit amount you've set for that particular order.
- Maximum Loss: This is a configurable backup amount you've set to cover potential price fluctuations or unexpected costs.
If your total balance isn't enough, the system will fail them outright.
Q: What happens if my balance runs out?
A: Orders will not process until you add more funds. Once you top up using PayPal, Payoneer, or a credit card, simply resend the orders.
Q: Can I set automatic top-ups?
A: At the moment, balance top-ups must be done manually from your Orders page.
Q: Can I get a refund for unused balance?
A: Yes. Full refunds are possible for unused balance, but partial refunds are not supported. Please note that all FBA-related activities (such as order processing and tracking updates) will stop once a refund is processed.
