Manage order status in bulk: update, cancel, or resend to automation

Learn how you can quickly and efficiently update multiple orders simultaneously using AutoDS's Bulk Change Feature, streamlining your order management process.

Introduction

Tired of updating orders one by one? Here’s how AutoDS helps you manage them in seconds.

Managing orders one by one can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially during busy sales periods.

That’s why AutoDS offers the Bulk Actions feature on your Orders Page. It allows you to update, cancel, or resend multiple orders in just a few clicks, saving your time and eliminating repetitive tasks.

Benefits

The Bulk Change feature is here to help you simplify and speed up your order management process. Here’s how it can benefit your daily workflow:

  • Save time by updating the status of multiple orders in one action.
  • Reduce manual errors caused by repetitive individual updates.
  • Improve efficiency and streamline your order management.
  • Ensure consistency when applying status changes across orders.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Orders Page from your AutoDS dashboard.

  2. Use the checkboxes next to each order to select the ones you want to update, or click Select All to choose all visible orders.

💡 Use filters to quickly find specific orders you want to edit. How Can I Filter My Orders?

  3. Click the ✎ (Edit) icon at the top of the list to open the bulk edit menu.

  4. In the pop-up, choose the new status you want to apply to the selected orders.
    The available options are:

    Status

    Description

    Send to Auto Order

Sends the selected orders to AutoDS for automated processing (only if automation is enabled).

    Pending

Marks orders as waiting for your action.

    Ordered

Confirms the product was ordered from the supplier.

    Shipped

Confirms the supplier has shipped the order.

    Delivered

Confirms the buyer received the order.

    Canceled

Marks the order as canceled — either because the supplier canceled it, or just to exclude it from profit calculations in the AutoDS Dashboard.

  5. Click “Update” to apply the changes. A confirmation message will appear—once it disappears, your updates have been successfully applied.

⚠️ Important

Automation: If you’ve chosen to use automation — whether FBA or Auto-Order — do not manually change the order status from Pending, Ordered, or Shipped. This will interrupt the automation process, and your order may not be fulfilled correctly.

💡 Tip

To show more orders per page, scroll to the bottom right of the Orders Page and use the “Show” drop-down to select 10, 20, 50, 100, or 200 per page. This makes managing large volumes easier.

Possible Issues & Workarounds

Ensure that you have selected at least one (or more) orders. The Bulk Actions option only appears when orders are selected.
  • I see an error message during the status update. What should I do?
    • Verify that the selected orders are eligible for the desired status change.
    • If the issue persists, please contact AutoDS support.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How will I know the changes were successful?
A: A notification will appear when the process starts. Once it disappears, the changes are applied.
