Find out what are the server recommendations for running a WooCommerce store
Working with WooCommerce requires experience in website development and coding. If you lack this experience, you may need to hire a professional to assist with the setup and integration. Please note that AutoDS isn’t responsible for the proper functioning or integration of your store if you don’t have the necessary technical knowledge for this process. For a more beginner-friendly setup, we recommend using Shopify.
The WooCommerce Server Recommendations can help you set your store up for success and provide good user experience.
A WooCommerce store requires these minimum requirements:
-
PHP 7.2 or greater (note PHP 7.0 is End of Life on 3 Dec 2018; PHP 5.6 EOL is 31 Dec 18)
-
MySQL 5.6 or greater (or MariaDB 10 or greater)
-
WooCommerce 2.5 requires WordPress 4.1+
-
WooCommerce 2.6 requires WordPress 4.4+
-
WP Memory limit of 128 MB or higher
-
HTTPS support (an SSL certificate)
By following these recommendations, you should be able to run a store with up to 500 products without any issues in your WooCommerce store. It is possible, however, that other changes will need to be made due to the customizability of your store.
If your WooCommerce site doesn’t meet the minimum requirements, many plugins might not function as expected, and it also might affect AutoDS integration with your store.
