Learn how to use AutoDS Tracking Conversion Generator
What is AutoDS Tracking Conversion Generator? This feature allows users to generate FedEx, UPS, and DHL tracking numbers based on their order's ETA and the destination city.
Important ❗
This feature is designed to improve tracking for TBA numbers and is available for all auto-order countries on Amazon (US, UK, FR, DE, AU) only.
Configuration
First, you'll need to enable our Orders' Processor, either in Auto or fulfilled with AutoDS service.
Go to Settings → Plans & Add-ons and ensure you have enabled the Order processor.
Once the orders processor feature was added go to Settings → Supplier's settings and choose the Supplier and Store, then →Orders
Key Features:
- This tracking conversion is exclusively available for Amazon Logistics tracking numbers. Tracking numbers from other carriers for Amazon orders will remain unchanged.
- The converted tracking numbers will not follow the order flow but will only mark the order as delivered based on the estimated delivery time provided by Amazon.
- This feature is available for all countries that have Amazon order automation (US, UK, DE, FR, AU). However, for the US the success rate is very robust, for other countries, it has a much lower success rate.
- The system will attempt to generate a tracking number up to 3 times. If it fails, the original tracking number will be used.
- Each conversion costs 1 AO credit. (in addition to the 1 AO credit if the order is auto-ordered).
- Orders on the platform will not update to “Delivered” and will remain in “Shipped” status. We will notify you when this changes. However, orders will update to delivered status on your selling channels (e.g., eBay, Shopify).
Tracking update on selling channel
Whether you add tracking numbers manually or the system does it automatically, this is what your selling channel will display at each stage of the order process.
NOTE: Currently, AutoDS will update the order status on your selling channel based on the rules and availability of each platform. Even if the supplier you chose provides tracking updates to AutoDS, your selling channel might not allow AutoDS to update statuses automatically.
That’s why the list above shows the tracking update rules for each selling channel. If your selling channel doesn’t allow automatic updates, you’ll need to manually update the status after checking the updates on your AutoDS account.
AutoDS does not update the status when the shipment is marked as "Delivered." Depending on your selling channel the status will update to Delivered by means:
- Buyer confirming delivery
- Manually updating to Delivered
- Selling channel confirms delivery and updates the status to Delivered automatically
