Product templates in AutoDS allow you to customize your product listings with branded content, design, and structure. A clear, professional template helps build trust and boost conversions.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to add new product templates, duplicate and edit existing ones, and apply HTML to further customize your listings.
Note: Templates are only supported for eBay stores. For Shopify, try the AI Page Template.

Step 1: Access the Product Templates section | Go to Settings → Templates in your AutoDS dashboard. You’ll see two sections: - Default Templates (based on the selling platform) - My Templates (your saved or customized templates) |
Step 2: Use a default template | - Use a built-in AutoDS template or duplicate it to create your own. - Hover over a template to see action buttons. - Click Preview to view the template with a sample product (desktop and mobile). - Click Add, name your template, then click Duplicate Template. - A notification will confirm the template was added. |
Step 3: Customize a template |
- Go to the My Templates tab. ⚠️ Important: Do not delete required macros like title, image, or description. These pull dynamic product data. |
Step 4: Save your changes |
- Click Update to save your changes. 💡 Tip: If you already have your own HTML code, click Source, paste it, then switch back to preview mode to continue editing. |
Step 5: Create a blank template |
- Click + Add Blank Template. ⚠️ Important: Always include required macros (title, main image, description) for listings to function properly. |
