Introduction
Managing orders manually takes time and increases the chance of mistakes. With AutoDS, you can connect your buyer account so that orders are placed automatically on your behalf. This ensures a smoother fulfillment process, greater customer consistency, and less daily work for you.

When to use your buyer account
AutoDS supports two order management methods that may require a buyer account:

Auto-Order (full automation): AutoDS uses your connected buyer account (e.g., Amazon or AliExpress) to automatically place orders, update tracking numbers, and mark the order status in your store.

Auto-Order (semi-automation): You place the order manually on the supplier’s website, and AutoDS updates the tracking details for you. This option is useful if you want to review each order before fulfillment.
If you prefer not to manage a buyer account, you can use Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA), where AutoDS processes orders using its own managed accounts.

Orders Processor Add-On must be enabled (billed separately from your subscription - $9.90/mo).

How to add your buyer account in AutoDS

On the AutoDS dashboard, navigate to Settings ➞ Buyer Accounts ➞ + Add Account.

Select a supplier and a region.

Enter account information, such as email, password, billing full name, zip code, and billing phone number.

This information is required to pass verification steps from the supplier site.

Set up your payment method, and choose between a credit card or gift card.

For Credit Card:

Click +Add Card and enter card details.

You can add multiple cards and set one as Primary.

Make sure the primary card in AutoDS matches the default card in your buyer account to avoid payment errors.

For Gift Card: The system will use the available balance from your buyer account.

- Configure buyer account settings
- Max Pending Orders: Limit the maximum orders in the Ordered status before AutoDS stops placing new ones.
- Daily Orders Price Limit: Define a maximum daily spend (e.g., $100). Orders resume automatically the next day.
- Auto Order: Enable it to allow AutoDS to process orders automatically. If disabled, orders remain Pending until you process them manually or mark them as Send to Auto Order (semi-automation).
- Auto Tracking Numbers: Automatically syncs tracking numbers from the supplier to AutoDS and your selling channel.
- Order Scan: Alerts you if orders exist on Amazon but not in AutoDS (helps detect duplicates).
- Finish setup by clicking on Add.
- Your buyer account will now appear under Buyer Accounts in Settings, where you can view, edit, or filter accounts.
Note: It is recommended that you place your first order manually using the new buyer account to confirm everything works before activating full automation.
Aliexpress step-by-step

Go to Settings → Buyer accounts → + Add account.

Under Supplier, select AliExpress.

Then click Connect with AliExpress.

Log in with your AliExpress credentials.

You’ll be redirected back to AutoDS, where the new buyer account will appear under Buyer Accounts (Your email won’t be displayed; it will appear in the format username@aliexpress.com).

Click the pencil (edit) icon to configure settings:

Max Pending Orders – limit orders waiting in Ordered status.

Daily Orders Price Limit – set a maximum daily spend.

Auto Order – enable automatic processing.

Auto Tracking Numbers – enable automatic syncing of tracking.

For payment: AutoDS shows “Gift Card” by default, but the actual method is the one already set up in your AliExpress account.
Payment Revision
In addition to the regular statuses explained here, AliExpress automation has a unique status: Payment Revision.
When an order is sent to automation, AutoDS places the order on your AliExpress account with the buyer details, but it is not paid automatically.
At this stage, the order status in AutoDS changes to Payment Revision. You must log in to your AliExpress account and complete the payment manually. Once payment is confirmed, the order will automatically update to Ordered status in AutoDS.

Go to Orders page → Filter → Status → Ordered → Payment Revision.

Amazon returns
Certain return requests cannot be processed by our Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA) service. This is to ensure account safety and a seamless service. Specifically, Amazon items under $10 cannot be returned through FBA, as stated in our Terms & Conditions.
You still have the option to process the return request on your own, using your Amazon buyer account.

Refunds are issued as an Amazon gift card to your buyer account, which you can use for future orders.

To process the return, always use your account to return the item as a gift.
Step-by-step:

Go to Amazon Returns – Gift.

Insert your Order ID (with dashes) and click Search.

Select the specific item you want to return.
-
Choose the reason for return from the dropdown menu.

Indicate the current state of the package (options vary by item).
-
Choose the return option and generate a shipping label to provide to your buyer.
Note:

If you choose Pickup, you must update the address at the top of the page to your buyer’s address, so the courier can correctly collect the item.

For other options, no address change is required.

Log in to your AutoDS account.

Go to Settings > Buyer Accounts from the left-hand menu.

Manually select the accounts you want to update, or click Select All.

Validate Prime
(For Amazon buyer accounts only)Restricts orders to Amazon Prime products only, ensuring faster shipping and better reliability if your account is eligible for Prime on Amazon Seller Central.
