Product Statuses Explained: In stock, On Hold, and Out of Stock
Understand where each product stands on your products page and what each status means for your store
Introduction
Your product’s status tells you exactly where it stands. In this guide, you’ll learn what each product status means and how it reflects your supplier settings and store performance.
Where to find the product statuses
-
Open the Products page in your AutoDS account — every item displays its status so you can track availability and syncing.
-
Statuses reflect the latest monitoring scan from the source site together with your configured settings.
Status | What it means |
---|---|
Available |
The product is in stock on the supplier’s website. It meets your AutoDS settings (pricing, shipping, stock monitoring). It stays live and listed in your store. |
On Hold |
The product is available at the source. It doesn’t match one or more of your configured settings/filters (e.g., price limits, shipping time, policies). AutoDS pauses listing/monitoring until the setting is adjusted. |
Out of Stock (OOS) |
The product is out of stock on the supplier site based on the latest scan. AutoDS sets the item to OOS in your store and removes it from live listings to protect performance. |
