Untracked products: import, connect and delete in AutoDS

Import, link and remove untracked products with automation for stock & price monitoring.

Introduction

Untracked products are items added manually to your selling channel instead of being uploaded through AutoDS, and thus can’t be monitored by the system for stock or price changes. By connecting or deleting them in AutoDS, you can maintain control over your catalog and automation.

This guide focuses on product import, connection and deletion, via manual or CSV methods, and how to manage variations without losing any details.

 

Benefits

  • Accurate stock and price updates: Your product’s price and stock will be updated multiple times per day (not in real-time) directly from the supplier, as long as the “Price & Stock Monitoring” feature is enabled in the supplier settings. However, if you’re using the Import 200 subscription plan, updates will occur once every 24 hours.
  • Enhanced product data synchronization: Ensure that your product details such as title, description, and images remain accurate and up to date within AutoDS and your store.
  • Access to powerful AutoDS tools: Use a variety of automation and optimization tools whenever needed. Please note that some tools require an additional payment separate from your subscription plan.

  • Order tracking and automation – Untracked product orders cannot be monitored or automated until they are connected to AutoDS.
  • Clean catalog: delete untracked items not needed to simplify your view and operations

 

Access the Untracked Products page

  1. Go to Products → Untracked Products from the left menu.
    Alternatively, click + Add Products on the left panel and select Untracked Products.

  2. You will see a list of items from your store that are not yet monitored by AutoDS.

💡 Tip: Use the Add Filter in the Untracked section to narrow your search and locate products easily.

 


 

Connect a single product manually

  1. Click Connect next to the desired product.

  2. Enter the Source ID, supplier, and region.

  3. Click Add and review the product details.

  4. Click Import Selected to finalize.

 


 

Manage product variations

After selecting your product, AutoDS will open the Variations page where you can:

  • Delete unwanted variations by clicking the delete icon.

  • Review variation attributes (e.g., color, size) and confirm correct mapping.

  • Connect different suppliers for different variations using Connect another product.

  • Click Connect once all variations are properly configured.

⚠️ Important: If attributes cannot be matched automatically, a dropdown will appear for manual selection. Always verify the correct attribute.

Mismatched attributes may cause incorrect options. Double-check before finalizing.

 


 

Connect multiple products via CSV file

  1. Go to the Add via CSV tab.

  2. Download the CSV File Example.
  3. Fill in the CSV with the following columns:

    Column Description
    A Product ID (from your store)
    B Source product ID (from supplier)
    C Supplier name
    D Region (e.g., US)
    E Variant SKU (optional)
  4. Upload the file.


💡 Tip: Use Google Sheets to preserve correct formatting.

Otherwise, be sure to:

  • Select the Product ID column
  • Right-click the selection > Format cells
  • Number
  • Decimals
  • Set Decimal Places: 0

Opening the file with other tools may cause errors like: “No product was given to import from untracked.”

Delete a single untracked product 

  1. Go to the Products page.

  2. Click the Untracked Products filter to view all items that aren’t monitored.

  3. Select the item you want to remove.

  4. Click the three-dot menu to the right of the product name and choose Delete to remove it from AutoDS and your selling channel.

Bulk delete untracked products 

  1. From the Products page, open the Untracked view.

  2. Select the products you want to delete.

  3. Click Bulk Delete.

  4. The selected items are deleted from both AutoDS and your selling channel.

 


 

Possible Issues & Workarounds

Issue Workaround
Product missing in Untracked list

1. Confirm the product is active in your store (check your selling channel).

2. Try to renew the token and resync the store.
Note: This option is not available for Facebook Marketplace or eBay Non-API. For eBay MIP, run an untracked sync through the Extension.

CSV import error

Check file formatting and required fields.

Re-upload the file.

Products weren’t deleted after following the steps

Allow up to 3 hours for processing. If the products are still present after that time, contact Support Chat for assistance.

I can’t find “Untracked Products” Open the Products page and apply the Untracked Products filter to list only items that aren’t monitored.
Bulk delete option not visible In the Untracked view, select the products first—bulk actions appear once items are selected. Then click Bulk Delete.
I use eBay, but deletion isn’t working Ensure the store is connected via API; deleting untracked products from AutoDS is supported only for eBay API connections.

Q: Can I import all untracked products at once?
A: Yes. Use the CSV import option to import all untracked products in bulk.

Q: Will AutoDS monitor stock and prices automatically after import?
A: Yes. Based on your supplier settings and plan, AutoDS will track stock and prices.

Q: What if a product is already tracked?
A: AutoDS will detect duplicates and skip them during the import.

Q: Do I need the Chrome extension to track unmonitored products?
A: The extension helps, but you can also manually assign tracking through the AutoDS dashboard.

Q: Will AutoDS monitor all my listings if I add them manually?
A: Only if you provide a valid supplier URL and enable monitoring. Otherwise, they will remain untracked.

Q: What should I do if products fail to connect to a supplier?
A: Make sure the correct supplier URL is added and the right product variant is selected before saving.

Q: Why don’t my untracked products or orders appear after uploading the CSV?
A: It may take a few minutes to up to an hour for the items to appear, depending on the number of uploads. If they don’t appear after one hour, contact technical support for assistance.
