Important to know đź“š

The process of listing a selling product on Amazon is different.

The majority of Amazon sellers do not create their own listings. Instead, they join existing Asins as sellers under the other sellers list on the same product.

Therefore, in addition to filling out the source product ID (aka the supplier) in AutoDS, you must also add the ASIN to which you want to be added.

Please note❗️

  • Amazon has several selling plans, you must subscribe to the 'Professional plan' on your Amazon account in order to connect to any software (not just AutoDS).

The product you list on Amazon will only be active and ready to sell after a period of time. There are times when you need Amazon's approval. In this case, the product will display a yellow warning saying: "You need the approval to list; request Approval via seller center. " With a direct link to the seller center when they need to ask for approval.

    Amazon Professional Account

Your Amazon store has to have permission to sell on the same region you connected it to in AutoDS. If for example, you wish to sell to US and UK, then these locations must have been approved on Amazon first. You can see these here:

FAQ:

What is an ASIN, and how can you use it to import products to your Amazon store?

Amazon’s product catalog organizes and links similar products using ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers). This system allows buyers and sellers to quickly find related items and enables more precise searches and filtering by category using ASINs. This setup is especially valuable for dropshippers, as it ensures that products listed for sale are accurately identified and easily synchronized with Amazon’s system.

To list products in your Amazon Store, they must be part of Amazon’s catalog and identified by an ASIN. Using ASINs—even if you’re sourcing items from other suppliers like AliExpress—ensures that product details remain consistent and accurate. However, if the product you want to import lacks an ASIN on Amazon, you’ll need to either find a comparable item or select one from Amazon’s catalog with a valid ASIN.

How to work with Variations?

Each product variant has its own unique ASIN, which is crucial for adding products from other suppliers. For instance, when adding AliExpress products, you must use each variant’s ASIN after the initial upload. Keep in mind, however, that some suppliers, like AliExpress, may not display individual Buy IDs for linking the correct ASIN to each variant, limiting the ability to upload all variations in such cases.

If you want to easily find the Buy ID for each product on the supplier website, you can use the AutoDS Helper Extension or check the product URL.
