Set the default settings for your future product uploads
AutoDS allows you to save your preferred lister setting for each new supplier you add to each of your selling channels.
On your settings page, you will be able to set up your Lister settings.
You can find them on Settings➞Supplier Settings➞ Lister
💡 Tip: point the mouse over the “?” and you will be able to check the information about the fields.
- Copy from another supplier - copy supplier settings from another supplier you already set our preferences
- Default Product Quantity -h ow many items are shown in the store for each new listing. For example, if set to 10, that number will display, reflecting the user’s preferred visibility rather than the supplier's actual stock. This allows users to manage how products appear based on their marketing strategies. Notice that this will affect the listing limit you might have on the selling platform.
- Default Item Country - for each supplier and each store, you can set a default country for the product listing.
- Default Zipcode -for each supplier and each store, you can set a default zipcode for the product listing.
- Shipping Methods- decide which shipping method you wish the monitoring system to scan for your listing. Any shipping cost detected will be factored into the product's source price. By default, the system will always select the shipping method with tracking, based on the user's settings. For example, if the user’s settings prioritize the cheapest option, and the supplier offers a $2 shipping method without tracking, the system will choose the second-cheapest option with tracking to ensure proper monitoring and delivery.
Cheapest - The cheapest shipping method on the source site for this product will be selected.
Cheapest with tracking - The cheapest shipping method with a valid tracking service on the source site for this product will be selected.
Fastest with tracking - The fastest shipping method with a valid tracking service on the source site for this product will be selected.
This is how it will look for example in Aliexpress:
Read here how this will affect your product pricing. - Default Template (not available for Shopify and Facebook stores) - set a default template for each supplier in your store (customize listing templates such as the layout of the product page, description, etc). You can choose an existing one or create a new one from scratch on the Template tab.

Important to know 📚
If you uncheck the 'Upload variations' option, your products will be uploaded as a single variation item and there will be NO option to add other variations in the future for this listing.
You have the option to enable/disable these settings when uploading a specific without changing your general settings. Read here for more details.
- Default item-specific - You can set item-specific that will be added automatically to all your listings
- Allow duplicates: If checked, the system will not verify whether the same item is already listed on your AutoDS account. Note: it is not recommended to allow duplicates if you upload to eBay as it violates its policy.
- Allow OOS Variations: If checked, variations that are not in stock according to the last scan will be uploaded to your account. Product variations refer to different versions of a product that are distinguished by specific attributes, such as size, color, or model. For example, a T-shirt might come in various sizes (S, M, L) and colors (red, blue, green), each representing a different variation of the same product, and in this, case. this counts as 2 types of variations (size and color).
What are variations? In dropshipping, listing variations allow you to offer multiple options of a product in a single listing the same as in the supplier website, like this:
- Capitalize Title: Each word of the title will change to a block letter (example: New Jacket For Man).
- Autofill Brand: Keeping this unchecked offers some protection from violating eBay's VERO restriction (know more about it). When unchecked the words 'Does not apply' will be added to the brand field on eBay.
- Split Variants into Products: Products on the source site consisting of multiple variations will be uploaded as a single listing for each variant. For example, a single listing of a glove with five colors will be uploaded as five separate listings for each color in your store.
- Allow Vero/Blocked Keywords: If checked, the system will ignore all keywords you entered or VERO brands and allow the products to be uploaded. Please note this can endanger your selling account (mostly relevant to eBay).
- Add Categories to Tags: An internal tag will be added to each product by main and subcategories pulled from the source site allowing you to see statistics of best-selling items and their niche category.
- Upload Variations: Allow to upload variations from the supplier. Some selling channels have a limit for that. 📚 Important to know: If you uncheck the 'Upload variations' option, your products will be uploaded as a single variation item and there will be NO option to add other variations in the future for this listing. You can learn more about it here: How to Work with Variations?
- Apply Watermark: Automatically apply a watermark (check the Store Settings to upload the watermark for all the listings) to all images of newly uploaded listings.
Here’s what it will look like:

- Duplicate Main Image up to 12: relevant for users that want to duplicate the main image to increase their visibility on the selling channel marketplace.
- Allow Marketplace Sellers: allow the system to monitor stock and pricing from 3rd party sellers and not the primary retailer. For example, FBM on Amazon instead of Amazon or FBA ones. More Info
- Private Listing (eBay store only): Enable this feature to make it harder for your competitors on eBay to see which items you are selling based on your customer feedback.
Price & Stock Monitoring Settings (not available for Import 200 subscription plans)

Default item-specific - You can set item-specific that will automatically be added to every product you upload. Item specifications are sometimes required for certain selling channels (eBay for example), but when products are imported from suppliers, they may not always include all the necessary details. In these cases, the user needs to manually add the specifications.
📣 eBay stores only - eBay has some rules about policies, and because of that, we have more fields that the user needs to choose how to handle.
- Default Item Country and Default Zipcode: Users can set a default country and zip code for product listings, ensuring accurate shipping information and compliance with eBay’s policies for where the products are coming from and avoiding troubles with the dropshipping process with eBay.
Selling Platform Policies
- Use dynamic policies (if enabled, the following 3 policies below will not appear) - let AutoDS create eBay policies for you based on the estimated delivery days scanned from the source listing. More info.
- Payment policy - set the default payment policy you wish to have for this store when uploading to your selling platform. Payment policies let customers know which payment methods are accepted. It specifies the accepted payment methods (such as PayPal, credit cards, or other payment options), the time buyers have to complete their payments, and any other relevant conditions or requirements.
- Shipping policy - set the default shipping policy you wish to have for this store when uploading to your selling platform. The Shipping Policy defines how sellers will ship items to buyers. It includes information such as shipping methods (e.g., standard, express), costs, delivery times, and whether the seller offers free shipping. Sellers also specify which regions or countries they ship to. This policy ensures buyers understand when and how they will receive their items.
- Return policy - set the default return policy you wish to have for this store when uploading to your selling platform. The Return Policy explains the conditions under which buyers can return items. Sellers can set rules about how long customers have to request a return, who pays for return shipping, and what types of items are eligible for return (e.g., new, unopened items only). This helps buyers know their rights and what to expect if they need to return a product.
