How to identify AutoDS private suppliers

There are two ways to identify whether a product is offered by a private supplier:

  1. Use filters

    • Go to the Marketplace

    • Apply the Supplier filter → select AutoDS Suppliers

  2. Look for the message button

    • On the product page, check if the Message This Supplier button appears

    • Only private suppliers have this feature — retail marketplace listings do not allow direct messaging

How to contact suppliers via the product page

You can message a private supplier directly through the product page:

  1. Go to the Marketplace tab in your AutoDS account

  2. Browse products from AutoDS Suppliers

  3. Click on the product you are interested in

  4. Click the Message This Supplier button

This feature is useful when:

  • You want to ask about available colors, sizes, or specs
  • You need clarification about shipping or availability
  • You’re exploring supplier details before importing products

 

💡 Tip: 

To browse only items from AutoDS Suppliers, make sure to use the Supplier filter on the Marketplace.

 


 

How to contact suppliers via the orders page

You can also contact a supplier about a specific order:

  1. Go to the Orders page in your dashboard

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the relevant order

  3. Select Send a message to supplier

 

From here, you can:

  • Ask about the status of an order

  • Request tracking details

  • Submit a cancellation or return request

⚠️ Important: This is the only way to handle cancellations and returns with a supplier.

 


 

How to view and manage your messages

Once you contact a supplier, the Messages tab will appear in your menu bar. Inside this tab, you can:

  • View all conversations

  • Track supplier replies

  • Follow up on ongoing inquiries

⚠️ Important: The Messages tab only becomes visible after you have contacted at least one supplier.

Q: How do I know if a product is from an AutoDS private supplier?
A: Use the Supplier filter in the Marketplace and select AutoDS Suppliers, or check the product page for the Message This Supplier button.
