AutoDs performs scans of the source sites for updates regarding stock and price changes every 60 minutes. This is one of the fastest scan times in the market. Unfortunately, even with these fast scans there will still be cases where your item will be sold for a lower price which was updated according to the results of the previous scan while in fact in the item's source price have risen.

Let's go through a case to explain further:

Source Site: Amazon.com

This item was sold on eBay at 2018-08-08,  23:46:06( UTC +0) with the source price of 14.68$ and the sell price of 20.72$.  When visiting Amazon user saw a price increase.

When clicking on the image of the items from the Orders Page, a new tab will open where the user can see that the source price of the item and the sell price are now updated in the Active Listings page. When the item source price changes in the ACTIVE LISTINGS page it is clear this was a sale that happened in between the scans. Meaning, the item was sold on eBay according to the update from the previous scan and right after that it was updated with the new price of stock status.

Price is updated in the ACTIVE LISTINGS page:

Note: If you do not see that the price of the item had change in 1 hour from the time of the sell then there might be a problem with its scan and you can address as at the support chat with the your eBay user ID or store name and the eBay Sell ID.

In most cases you will be able to check the logs of the price change on sites such as Keepa.com or Camelcamelcamel.com. However, these softwares do not scan as frequently as AutoDS and tend to miss some of the price or stock changes.

When the user checked camelcamelcamel.com for the product changes it showed no price change:

As mentioned - these sites do not check price changes as frequently as AutoDS does, therefore, they fail to present many changes in their price and history logs.

When the user checked Keepa.com (which runs more frequently than camelcamelcamel.com) this was the data displayed for this item:

As you can see - there was a lightning deal in the time of the sale which lowered the item's source price to 14.68$. By the time the user checked his Orders, the lightning deals was over and the price went back up.

If you indeed checked these sites and still did not find a change in price that can explain this, you're more than welcome to address us at the support chat with the following details:

  1. Your eBay account name as appears in the monitor, you can see it next to the bell icon:

2. The number of the order on eBay - the sell ID - you can find it from the Orders page:

We will check this case further for you with our developers and will provide an explanation once conclusions can be made.

For any further questions you are welcome to contact us through the support :)
